Ok so i am not much of a writer, but i have to pen down this one, less i forget this is my entry for the ecotrain contest for the week.
The question goes thus Is life fair?
On seeing this topic my mind immediately ran back to what just happened last week over here in my country Nigeria. The story is not palatable at allπͺπͺπͺπͺπͺ.
There is so much controversy as to the death of a young Nigerian girl waiting to leave for her NYSC(National Youth Service Corp) a course all Nigerian students go on after graduating from the university, it's kinda of compulsory for all Nigerians whether you schooled outside the country or in the country, so far you intend to use your certificate to work (to earn a living).
So this young Nigerian girl was among the few waiting for this course when her fellow Nigerians squeeze out the only life she had left. Her Name is Iniobong Umoren.π―οΈπ―οΈπ―οΈ
Her school suffering vanishedππ
Her Hopes never got establishedπ
Her dreams devastated ππ
Unknown prayers unanswered.ππ
How could she not have known that her mother land drinks the blood of it own?ππππππππ
She sends message to the future;
Some of which are;
That she was looking to the sky for aid in other to bring to limelight the glorious expectations of her parents who never lived to see her death, a young orphan that was who she was, just struggling to meet ends meat but was strangled to death by a fellow Nigerian, her brother from another motherπͺπͺπͺ
Again she continues to tell the future, that she was raped, and murdered π‘οΈβ°οΈππππππ
But despite all the agony she passed through in their hands she shall be rememberedπππππ
Oh! how she wished she could already foresaw what was coming ahead of her but she was too blind with the urge to make it in life, the urge to come out of poverty.π
While she says goodbye to her dream un-birthed,
Leaving behind the history of a corrupt nation.π
She weeps cos her young soul has been forced into the bowels of the earth πππππππππππππππππ
What pains me most is that his young girl got to be popular in her death, perhaps when she seemed for a job no one was interested to help her but now she is gone to the land beyond even the once that refused to help her are sympathizing with her family, isn't this life unfair.
Hmmm See the irony of lifeπͺπͺπͺ
Her only crime was to look for a job but she ended in mother earthπ«π«π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯, this is disheartening but I pray she finds solace in the hand of her creator,Amen.
The death of Ini Umoren isn't the only thing that could make one feel life is unfair, what of a case of a newly wedded couple dying on their way home;
What of a woman dying along side her child after delivery;
Oh what of fore outbreak;
Or plane crash;
I could count and count but in all we have to experience the bitter and good side of life.
It doesn't mean God loves the other person than you, that just how it was meant to beπππ
Most times I tend to ask myself, people that die in bomb blast, accident, fire break, etc if that's how their creator intended for them, ana the more I ask this question i just discovered that life could be the two side of a coin both good and bad, fair and unfair, what ever the creator chooses to give to you He will, but I pray we all survive it all.
I hope my write up sinks well into your subconscious?
