Thanks to life - ECOTRAIN QUESTION OF THE WEEK SEASON 7 #1 LAUNCH . A SEASON OF GRATITUDE & MAGIC...

Living is an adventure, a journey that is unpredictable and is tinged by different moments and situations, some of them the product of people's own actions, others the result of the normal ups and downs of living together.

Each situation is personal, unrepeatable, it may have certain similarities to what happened in others but never the same elements, for this reason feelings emerge and empathies end up uniting the fortunate or unfortunate.

The human being is by nature nonconformist, no matter how much he has or what he owns, he always wants something different and many end up living a miserable life despite having comforts and facilities that most people do not have.

Opulence is not a sign of happiness, nor is poverty a sign of misfortune, since the value of each person, although society measures it by what he or she has, is subject to how he or she feels.

Personally, my journey through this world has not been easy, vicissitudes have been present, I have had to live stages before my time and face problems that have overcome me, but I have never ceased to maintain a position of struggle and resilience.

This has allowed me to live for more than sixty years, to learn and teach, to suffer and enjoy successes and defeats, but above all it has made me less dissatisfied with what I own or what affects me.

I have understood that everything has a purpose in life and that I cannot always understand it immediately, that speed is not a good companion but neither is procrastination, that there is an intermediate point in which I must put my efforts to transform conformism into action and teaching.

If a genie had come to me 30 years ago to offer me a wish, I might have chosen one that seemed to make me happy at the time, but I would have overlooked the fact that it would make me reach the roof without going through the other floors and this would cause my knowledge of the rest to be clouded and therefore out of step with reality.

If he does it now, I would not hesitate to thank him for the action but I would have to dig a lot in that ego that has remained on the margin of my decisions and at the end without remorse I would answer him that I am satisfied but not satisfied, but that the inconformity is not for what I have stopped having but for the short time I have left to continue doing it and that I do not ask for more years of life because that decision is only in God's hands.

As a famous song says, I thank life for everything it has given me and taken away and if I could live again I would choose the same one, because it has taught me that to be happy I just have to want to be happy.
