This question makes me think, do I want to be anything then what I am now. Do I want to see myself in a new Avatar?
For me to change as a person in anyway, my straight away answer is NO. I am very happy and satisfied with my life and I do not wish to go any other way or want to be anything else than who I am now. But yes with what I am now, I still do want some enhancements within me.
And the one main is that I mentally imbibe this change of going 100% offgrid. It's not that I have any doubts, but then I still do have some reservations and not 100% able to go ahead with it. I want to be dwindling around both the lifestyles, and I only wish that I can make this 100% decision to be on the other side of the fence from where I am now. To completely get inculcated in it and be a part of it. That's how I would like to see myself as a whole person.
Cutting off from your current way of life and wanting to adapt a complete new lifestyle is a shift in perspective completely, it's not as easy as we think. Since the time I have started working on this, I realize that I have to look at breaking down so much of conditioning within my own- self, to move to that level of life. I am a person who becomes rigid on changes, it is not easy for me to accept change fast. When I shifted to a new Country, it took me almost 3 years to start accepting the place and living in the moment in the place, and still I have not been able to fully accept it whole heartedly. And this is what I want for myself, breaking this rigidness within me. If a Genie can do some magic to work on my mind and make me more flexible to change, it will be surely a big gift of life for me.
Over a period of time, I have started living a very mindful life, I am conscious about my actions, my words, my energy, hence as a person I am very satisfied with my life. I am happy the way I am, so nothing really I wish to change, but as rightly said, the stumbling blocks are more of the mind, and to overcome these few stumbling blocks of my mind, I would be happy if I get a chance that a Genie can help me to reinvent myself in this particular direction.
If I would have been asked the same question 10 years ago. I would have said many things, and to be honest that would have been my confused state of mind. But as we also say experience is the best teacher of life, and so has it been for me, to bring many realizations to surface for me, and that makes me contended with my current life.
We humans in general are never at contentment with what we have and what we are, we are always looking at things we do not have and wish for it. As it's said grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, but when you cross the fence only then you realize, your grass was much better.
