Hola mi querida comunidad Ladies of Hive, espero que hayan tenido un buen fin de semana y un inicio de semana productivo. Estoy muy feliz desde la semana pasada porque el sábado fue el cumpleaños de mi único hijo y aunque es todo un hombre, para mí sigue siendo el evento más importante del año.

Estoy escribiendo en esta comunidad hoy porque quiero participar en este concurso, me pareció muy interesante poder hablar de las cosas que nos apasionan, tengo que decir que es muy difícil para mí hacer algo sin interés, tenacidad y pasión. Hay muchas cosas que me gusta hacer, como bailar, tejer, bordar, leer, cocinar y crear en el sentido amplio de la palabra, aunque sabiendo mis limitaciones, porque existen técnicas que no se aplicar, pero dentro de mis posibilidades, hacer manualidades me motiva mucho. Les voy a hablar de las cosas más relevantes que me apasionan, no sin antes invitar a mi hermana @taniagonzalez a que también participe en este concurso y sé que le gustará.

Hello my dear Ladies of Hive community, I hope you had a good weekend and a productive start to the week. I have been very happy since last week because Saturday was my only son's birthday and although he is quite a man, for me it is still the most important event of the year.
I am writing in this community today because I want to participate in this contest, I found it very interesting to be able to talk about the things that we are passionate about, I have to say that it is very difficult for me to do something without interest, tenacity and passion. There are many things that I like to do, such as dancing, knitting, embroidery, reading, cooking and creating in the broad sense of the word, although knowing my limitations, there are techniques that are not applied, but within my possibilities, doing crafts motivates a lot. I am going to talk about the most relevant things that I am passionate about, but not before inviting my sister @taniagonzalez to also participate in this contest and I know she will like it.

Aparte de la familia, que estar junto a ellos es lo que más me entusiasma, les diré que siento una gran pasión por mi carrera, soy licenciada en Contabilidad y Finanzas, cuando comencé a estudiar esta carrera no estaba muy motivada, hasta que comencé a entender los diferentes procesos económicos y es algo que me atraviesa la piel, a veces pienso que si no hubiera trabajado en este campo, no sabría que podría haber hecho mejor en esta vida, por lo tanto una de mis mayores pasiones es sin duda todo lo relacionado con el trabajo contable financiero. Es un trabajo duro y de mucha constancia a veces estresa mucho pero es muy útil para aplicarlo en todos los ámbitos de la vida.

Apart from the family, that being with them is what excites me the most, I will tell you that I feel a great passion for my career, I have a degree in Accounting and Finance, when I started studying this career I was not very motivated, until I started understand the different economic processes and it is something that goes through my skin, sometimes I think that if I had not worked in this field, I would not know what I could have done better in this life, therefore one of my greatest passions is undoubtedly everything related to financial accounting work. It is hard work and a lot of perseverance, sometimes it stresses a lot but it is very useful to apply it in all aspects of life.

Me encanta la lectura, es como si viviera mil historias, cada vez que tomo un libro entre mis manos me sumerjo en él sin pensar en nada más que beberme cada palabra y adentrarme en ese mundo. Siempre pasa que cuando termino de leer un libro no quiero que acabe y muchas veces lo vuelvo a empezar jajaja, el autor con quien mas me sucede, es con Gabriel García Márquez, no puedo evitarlo. Me gusta leer diferentes géneros, no tengo uno favorito, solo tiene que ser interesante la lectura, pueden ser de hechos históricos, épocas medievales, coloniales, contemporáneas, novelas, hechos reales, etc. Tengo libros que me han gustado mucho y por supuesto los he leído más de una vez, eso me ha pasado con Cien años de soledad (con este libro tuve que hacer un árbol genealógico para no confundirme jajaja), Las Vírgenes del Paraíso, una historia desgarradora donde se mezclan la tradición, el amor y la familia.

Me gustan mucho las obras del escritor cubano Leonardo Padura, he leído casi todo de él y me encanta, tiene una forma de escribir muy desenfadada. En fin, he leído mucho y sé que aún me queda mucho por leer. Ahora mismo estoy leyendo Historia de un secuestro, de Gabriel García Márquez, basada en hechos reales, ese libro me tiene atrapada. Como se habrán dado cuenta, la lectura me envuelve, es una de mis mayores pasiones, leo desde niña.

*I love reading, it's as if I lived a thousand stories, every time I take a book in my hands I immerse myself in it without thinking about anything other than drinking every word and entering that world. It always happens that when I finish reading a book I don't want it to end and many times I start it again hahaha, the author with whom it happens the most is Gabriel García Márquez, I can't help it. I like to read different genres, I don't have a favorite, the reading just has to be interesting, they can be historical facts, medieval, colonial, contemporary times, novels, real events, etc. I have books that I have liked a lot and of course I have read them more than once, that has happened to me with One Hundred Years of Solitude (with this book I had to make a family tree so as not to get confused hahaha), Las Vírgenes del Paraíso, a story heartbreaking where tradition, love and family are mixed

I really like the works of the Cuban writer Leonardo Padura, I've read almost everything by him and I love it, he has a very carefree way of writing. Anyway, I've read a lot and I know I still have a lot to read. Right now I'm reading Historia de un kidnapping, by Gabriel García Márquez, based on real events, that book has me trapped. As you may have noticed, reading surrounds me, it is one of my greatest passions, I have read since I was a child.*

Otra de mis pasiones, como ya les dije, es la creación, me encanta todo, lo que puedo crear con mis manos, cuando se me ocurre algo, me lo meto en la cabeza, y no sale hasta que lo termino. A veces me pongo muy tozuda, lo reconozco, es que cuando surgen las ideas, en el momento dejo todo y empiezo a hacerlo y no puedo parar hasta terminar, a veces hasta me pongo un poco mañosa y ni siquiera quiero que me hablen, es que no quiero que me entretengan, además me concentro tanto que no se si es de día o de noche, he estado toda una noche haciendo algo y cuando miro el reloj son las 6 am, me gusta el silencio de la noche pero lo malo es que trabajo en la calle, a menos que sea fin de semana, no dormir me juega malas pasadas, por eso aprendí a organizar un poco mi tiempo y contener mis impulsos jaja.

Pero amigos, no hay nada más gratificante que ver el resultado final, lo comparo con la alegría de un niño con un juguete nuevo. Aquí les dejaré algunos trabajos que he realizado, me gusta mucho reutilizar y reciclar, con cualquier material telas, vidrio, madera, plástico, todo, siempre pienso que hay una segunda oportunidad para todo.

Another of my passions, as I already told you, is creation, I love everything, what I can create with my hands, when something occurs to me, I put it in my head, and it doesn't come out until I finish it. Sometimes I get very stubborn, I admit it, it's that when ideas arise, at the moment I drop everything and start doing it and I can't stop until I finish, sometimes I even get a little crafty and I don't even want to be talked to, it's that I don't want to be entertained, besides, I concentrate so much that I don't know if it's day or night, I've been doing something all night and when I look at the clock it's 6 am, I like the silence of the night but the bad thing is I work on the street, unless it's the weekend, not falling asleep plays tricks on me, that's why I learned to organize my time a bit and contain my impulses haha.
But friends, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the final result, I compare it to the joy of a child with a new toy.
Here I will leave you some works that I have done, I really like to reuse and recycle, with any material fabrics, glass, wood, plastic, everything, I always think that there is a second chance for everything.

Y por último y no menos importante, disfruto mucho apreciar esculturas, no hacerlas, la naturaleza no me dotó de es gran don y habilidad, pero admiro mucho las esculturas, me encanta ir a exposiciones, igual admiro mucho los diferentes estilos arquitectónicos, admirar el arte escultórico y arquitectónico es una de mis pasiones más lindas, cuando voy caminando sea sola o acompañada me quedo extasiada mirando cualquier fuente, escultura, balcones, etc. Me gusta mucho el estilo barroco, es muy trabajado, pero en verdad aprecio todos los estilos. Es por eso que me encanta pasear por las calles de mi Habana Vieja , cuando me pongo a desandar sus calles no tengo para cuando parar y siempre encuentro cosas nuevas, todo me conmueve y llama mi atención. Me gusta capturar todo lo que veo, por suerte muchas veces me acompaña mi hijo que su gran pasión es la fotografía y me ayuda con eso, pero casi siempre termino utilizando mi teléfono aunque hago fotos mucho peores jajaja. Lo dejaré hasta aquí porque creo haber abordado las principales cosas que me hacen muy feliz.

And last but not least, I really enjoy appreciating sculptures, not making them, nature did not endow me with this great gift and ability, but I admire sculptures a lot, I love going to exhibitions, I still admire the different architectural styles a lot, I admire the sculptural and architectural art is one of my most beautiful passions, when I walk alone or with someone I am ecstatic looking at any fountain, sculpture, balcony, etc. I really like the baroque style, it's very elaborate, but I really appreciate all styles. That's why I love walking through the streets of my Old Havana, when I start walking its streets I don't have time to stop and I always find new things, everything moves me and catches my attention. I like to capture everything I see, luckily my son often accompanies me, his great passion is photography and he helps me with that, but I almost always end up using my phone even though I take much worse photos hahaha. I'm leaving it here because I think I've covered the main things that make me very happy.
