Hello my loving Asean Hive community,
Welcome to my new post. How's everything? I hope all goes well. These days, I teach the children in my teachers' dormitory almost every week from Monday to Friday. That's why I haven't shared about papercraft, clay art and DIY for a long time. And I have not talked about the plants my father planted in my yard for a long time. Today I returned home early. So I spent some of my evening time in the small garden.
Today I will tell you about a fruit that is ready to be picked in our small garden. Do you like papaya? I really like papaya. I like to eat green papaya in thailand style salad and I also like to eat ripe papaya. However, some of the ripe papayas sold in our market are not naturally ripe, so the taste is very bitter. So even though I like papaya, I only eat it occasionally.
Do you grow papaya plants in your house? In the town where I live, papaya plants are grown in almost every house. At my friend's house, my friend's grandmother planted a papaya tree, but it was very small. In my house there are about 10 papaya trees in total. Some of the plants are still very young, but some of them are about my height. By the time we got home, the papaya plants were already bearing fruit.
The papaya plant I show above is a plant planted in front of a small garden. This papaya plant is only as tall as me. However, the papaya from this tree is different from the papaya from other plants. The papaya in this plant is sweeter and bigger. To be ripe, we use the natural method, so the taste is not bitter at all.
The papaya has been ripe on this plant for a long time, but we just picked it today and it is a little overripe at the bottom. Elsewhere, things are going well.
This papaya plant is low so very easy to pick. I did not use a stick or a knife to pick up the papaya. It was easy to pick with just a handful. However, I had to be a little careful because there were some black ants between the papaya and the stem. Below are some of the pictures I took today.
That's all for today. Thank you. See you next post. ๐
