Strip mines, strip malls, Kentucky's got it all! Come to think of it, they're both about equally appealing visually. We've got plenty of strip gentlemen's clubs too but they're further down the street.

I'd love to go wander an open air market taking photos for #wednesdaywalk but what we've got around here is the Family Dollar. Is there any place that doesn't have a dollar store? I swear you can be in the middle of nowhere and pull off at a wide spot in the road and find one. (Family Dollar, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, if it has dollar in the name it's a dollar store)

Well, maybe not this one, it seemed just a bit off. Nothing says great deals like tarps, plywood, and metal bars in the windows!

Even the Family Dollar was well secured. For a place dedicated to cheap they sure seem to be trying to secure it like Fort Knox.

Pawn shop and liquor store. . . one stop shopping for the busy burglar on the go! Might explain all the bars on the windows.

Oh joy, that building is a beauty. It's something at least although what I'm not exactly sure.

The closer you get to it the more questions you have. Anybody want to work here?

Speaking of questions, I has some. This last photo is in color because that's the only way to fully appreciate the weirdness. Not sure how or why this came to exist but enjoy!
