Hello everyone and welcome to appointment number 16, an appointment where I design @splinterlands characters with my own style. The character that I present to you today is "Child of the Forest", it was a long time that I wanted to draw this character, but every time I chose another subject, I was able to realize it and I present it to you below. Today's subject is definitely a boy raised in the forest, agile as a monkey and aggressive as an angry wolf, I enjoyed imagining him leaping from tree to tree in his forest, hunting for food together and running away from wolves. For this realization of the illustration I was inspired by his original image (which I think fantastic) obviously I wanted to make some changes, with the round lines I wanted to emphasize the young age of the character, I also wanted to add long hair, to emphasize that the boy is a free savage.

Making this work was very inspiring, making the various objects that the boy made was fun, the armor, the recreations and the various leather parts were a lot of fun to do. As always it is the creative process that is consolidated, I always start the work with a very simple drawing, consisting in creating an initial idea of ​​what the finished work will be. Having defined this sketch, I begin to create the final net drawing, made up of all the lines that make up the final drawing. After this step I go to coloring, the first coloring is done with spot colors, and only at the end I add lights and shadows, thanks to these additions the drawing is completely transformed. As a last step, I added body painting and face painting and created a background that recalled the concept of the forest. Below you can see the various steps of the creative process.

Ciao a tutti e benvenuti all'appuntamento numero 16, appuntamento dove disegno con il mio stile i personaggi di @splinterlands . Il personaggio che vi presento oggi è "Child of the Forest", era molto tempo che avevo voglia di disegnare questo personaggio, ma ogni volta sceglievo un altro soggetto, finalmente sono riuscito a realizzarlo e ve lo presento qui di seguito. Il soggetto di oggi è sicuramente un ragazzo cresciuto nella foresta, agile come una scimmia e aggressivo come un lupo arrabbiato, mi sono divertito ad immaginarlo saltare da un albero all'atro nella sua foresta, andare a caccia di cibo e correre insieme ai lupi. Per realizzare questa illustrazione mi sono ispirato alla sua immagine originale (che a mio parere è fantastica) ovviamente ho voluto apportare delle modifiche, con le linee del volto rotonde ho voluto sottolineare la giovane età del personaggio, ho voluto anche aggiungere i capelli lunghi, per sottolineare che il ragazzo è un selvaggio libero.

Realizzare questa opera è stato molto stimolante, ricreare i vari oggetti che il ragazzo si è costruito è stato divertente, l'armatura, i polsini e le varie parti in cuoio sono state molto divertenti da fare. Come sempre il processo creativo che seguo è ormai consolidato, inizio sempre il lavoro creando un disegno molto semplice, composto da sole linee che mi aiutano a capire le proporzioni e la posa del personaggio, mi aiutano a creare un'idea iniziale di quello che sarà il lavoro finito. Definito questo sketch inizio a creare il disegno definitivo pulito, composto da tutte le linee che compongono il disegno finale. Finito questo passaggio, passo alla colorazione, la prima colorazione vine fatta con colori piatti, e solo alla fine aggiungo luci e ombre, grazia a queste aggiunte il disegno si trasforma completamente. Come ultimo passaggio ho aggiunto la pittura sul corpo e sul viso e ho creato uno sfondo che richiamasse il concetto di foresta. Qui di seguito potete vedere i vari passaggi del processo creativo.
