This is my entry for the World Photography Contest, for which the theme this time is, Lakes of the world.

I chose pictures of Loch Morlich in Scotland, near Aviemore in the Cairgorms national park. An enchanting place, that completely baffled me. It has everything, incredibly clear water, a beach, mountaintops with snow in the background, and birds having the time of their lives feeding from the water.

This was all taken in April 2019, when we did a road trip around Scotland, this was not planned on our tour, we just stumbled upon it. And most of the times, those are the best places to visit. If you get the chance, go and visit Scotland, it is an incredible place, which gems like Loch Morlich hidden everywhere.
