It is the sad end if you take it in the perspective you have given. Lol. But there was something else in my mind. 😂. It was about blackmailing. The blackmailers use our weakest point and threat us to reveal it to the world. We are afraid. We keep on hiding. But what if that something is revealed to the world, the thing that kept us afraid is open. Now there would be no more fear of anything. There would be the way to pay back in the same coin.

This same thing goes for other social pressures and threats that keep on suppressing us. I remind me of a very common sentence, "I have lost everything, now I have nothing to lose."

That's what was in my mind, but yes the poem may be delivering the meaning you explained.
