It’s a privilege to be part of this week’s contest, hopefully you would be seeing more of me here on #pobphotocontest, and I hope I am welcomed. This week’s contest is titled WHITE. White sounds simple, without any color or stain, but interesting as well. I really do not have to start saying what white stands for, as we all already know 😎.

So going straight to what I came here for, I have looked around and I seemed not to really get something to talk about on white until I noticed the pure white crocs I bought some days ago.

Sounds funny ehn 🤣🤣. But when I really thought of it, I bought this shoe for a purpose. It’s raining season now, most leather shoes would get spoilt so easily at this period of time. At the same time, it can get really inconvenient when wet, but this crocs made of rubber is relatively light to move with, can be cleaned while wet and feel dry instantly, and wouldn’t get spoilt from an encounter with rain or water anywhere. In addition, it is very cheap and affordable.

Why did I buy a white crocs

When it comes to rubber shoes, I always feel most colored rubber shoes looks childish, I really don’t feel convenient seeing them on people until I saw the plain white, it felt so mature and fancy, also this pure white crocs fits into any color of cloth one wears, it’s not limiting.

Well for people who live in a developing country like I do, most times we have to walk through some untiled roads before getting to the tiled ones. During this rainy season, most of these untiled roads can get so so messed up, believe me walking through it with a white footwear wouldn’t be recommended.

Today I was able to pass though these roads carefully, but still sustained some stains on my crocs which I later wiped off with a piece of cloth, another interesting part is that, it doesn’t take much effort to get washed up after being dirty, and it doesn’t need to be sun dried before one can wear it again.

In conclusion, I can move around with my (approximately $4) white crocs and still look cute ☺️ and admirable
