Well, it all started as a grand idea.

As ideas often do. LOL

My hubby has this picture that he loves. It is a 16 year old picture, and he loves it so much that he printed it up on his computer years ago, and just like - stuck it up in his office with some tape LOL

He asked me to have it printed for him, but......... (I may... have... forgotten.) for... maybe a lot of years???

BUT I WAS GOING TO MAKE UP FOR IT THIS YEAR!!!

For Christmas, I didn't just want to print it up! I wanted to put some blood, sweat, and tears into it! or at least time, energy and paint LOL

I had it computerized into a paint-by-number, and then I was going to create a sweet little masterpiece worthy to put up in his office! hehehe

Well, you know what the say about intentions. It was going GREAT, and I was having a blast! The last time I tried a paint by number there were SO MANY little numbers and blobs, it gave me a headache trying to search for all the digits! And that was 27 years ago - I kid you not. I know it was 27 years ago because it was a photo from our wedding hahahahaha and THAT was almost 28 years ago (next month!) geez, I'm old! LOL

I never actually finished that painting because it was INSANELY detailed. Well, turns out details are pretty damn important. Cuz if you don't have a nice company that's going to make sure that the numbered pots they give you actually MATCH the pattern... lolol... you end up with, well... you end up with what's in the video. LOL

Sad to say, that was a lot of money wasted, and in order to fix it - they wanted me to actually recreate their pattern ON TOP of the already painted canvas with transfer paper and kinda... guesstimate.

If I could do all that... WOULDN'T I HAVE JUST DONE THAT FROM THE START WITHOUT THEM???? LOL Ah, Lesson learned. I'm not really mad at the company. They probably are just thinking I messed up the numbers but the last time I checked #22 looked very different from #15. (and I know it was 22.... because after the paint dried - you could STILL see 22 under the WHITE paint LOLOLOL) and when they sent me the replacement pdf pattern.... it still said 22 in pretty clear text. hahaha

So... I have purchased ANOTHER paint by number kit from a different company and we will see how that one goes, won't we! lol
