I like the design the Vikings used on this runestone. Jörmungandr is depicted on the stone and carved runic language along with the serpent. Love it! 😀👍 There is not cross on the stone so that I believe that the stone was carved before Christianity was introduced to Sweden.

Every time I see a runestone in Sweden (well, there are many in Scandinavia!), I wonder what I would carve if I had a chance. On the gravestone, people carve their name and period of time they lived. This runestone U932 also shows the names of their family members and says that they existed here. Probably, they would write down a period of time if they knew when they existed. (I mean they did not have their time system yet.) Is it some kind of humans' desire we want to remain something that shows that we exist? Am I writing this blog because I want to remain something in the Internet? Maybe blogging on the blockchain is the 21st century´s way to remain something that shows that I exist haha! Well, well! Before Scandinavians, Africans, Europeans, and Asians, well, we are humans who just want to remain something which shows that we exist, I guess.
