Hi everybody!
Happy weekend. Wherever you are, I hope you are always in good health.
I can't believe we've been reunited with Friday, and as usual as a true mushroom lover and hunter, of course, I myself don't want to miss participating in the #fungifriday contest which is always held by @ewkaw.
"Between a coral reef and a puffball". That's the title of my post this time. Mushroom xylaria cubensis is a mushroom that has a unique petal, this mushroom has a very complicated texture. Do you know what coral reefs look like in the ocean? That's the shape of the petals of this mushroom.
I purposely made the background black and some light highlights to make the image more realistic. Editing using Snapseed and Photoshop, gave me more satisfying results.
And next is the puffball mushroom - lycoperdon perlatum which is shaped like a ball of clumps, but there are some of them that grow close together so that the shape is slightly wider. It is white in color and grows small thorns on its petals.
While the puffball mushroom lycoperdon nigrescens has a brown color. It's a little smaller and softer.
And that's a little description of some of the mushrooms I found this time, happy #fungifriday and I hope you like some of the pictures.
