"Are you making another collage, Nancy?" asked her husband cautiously.
She nodded once without looking up.
"With your diplomas?"
She nodded again and poured on the glitter. At least they were pretty now.
I've never done anything quite so destructive with my academic certificates but there was one point when the job market was really bad and I felt like the years I spent studying were wasted when it may have crossed my mind. But anyway, I hope you enjoyed this (very) short story.
