Florida Power and Light is clearing the brush from under the powerlines on the preserve, which is fine. Except they are going across our property to get to it. Their heavy equipment and large trucks are tearing up our road.

My husband spoke to them about it and told them that the neighbors blocked off the concrete road that they are to use. FPL built the concrete road for their use back in the '50s or '60s. The man told my husband that he would have to get permission from the neighbors to go through their property, my husband said "what you don't need permission to go across our property". The guy did not answer, just lowered his head and walked off.
I wonder if I should call FPL and speak up.

This is it now....

My daughter has an hour's drive home from Hell (her work) each day, she calls me and we talk the entire drive home. Today she was telling me, as she is now calling her, stabby the secretary was talking to someone two days ago and they were making fun of one of the new trainees name, it is Kim. She said that it bothered her that they were doing this behind his back but she did not speak up. Today Stabby called someone else by a name that bothered my daughter and she said she could not sit there and let her get away with it so she told her that it was not nice to make fun of others like that. The other person that was there defended Stabby saying "oh, she did not mean it like that". My daughter told her she did not care for it and they should not do it anymore. She was told she just has morals like they are a bad thing to have. I am proud of my daughter and told her to never be ashamed of having morals, that is the way she was raised. She said she is not ashamed and will not hold her tongue when it comes to someone bullying or making fun of someone else.
