Hello everyone, how are you today?
Spring has arrived at my place, it's the perfect season to go exploring the beautiful nature. And I especially like going to the waterfalls in this season because they look fresher and more beautiful. Besides, the surrounding nature also becomes greener. Today I'm going to take you to another of my favorite hidden waterfalls, called Peach Slide.
Why does it have this name? Peach Slide is the name given to this waterfall by my foreign friends because it has a slide, and they often come here to water slide in the summer. It doesn't even have a Vietnamese name. I tried to search for its name on google map but there is no available name. This proves that very few Vietnamese come here.
Where is this waterfall located? Actually I can't show you the specific path to get here because the name of it and the way to get here are not shown on the map. What I can do is try to look it up on satellite map and pin it on pinmapple. I hope I will have the opportunity to bring you here in person. It is a waterfall located on a stream called Khe Dao flowing through Hoa Bac mountain area of Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city.
From Da Nang city, we rode motorbikes in the direction of La Son-Tuy Loan highway in the morning, then we parked at a local's house where Khe Dao stream flows. Then we walked along the stream to come to this waterfall. Honestly, I would never have known this waterfall if my foreign friends hadn't led me here. And I don't know how these friends discovered this waterfall. They must have spent a lot of time walking in the woods to discover it.
From where we parked our motorbikes, it took us about 45 minutes to walk up along Khe Dao stream to reach Peach Slide. Along the way, we sometimes had to wade across streams, climb cliffs, and squeeze through groves of trees. There is really no way there, we had to find the easiest way for ourselves to get to the waterfall. That took us quite a while. That is also the reason that not many people know about an interesting place like this.
After about 45 minutes of walking along the stream, we finally reached the waterfall. It was really well worth the effort and time we spent. According to my friend, in spring the water is more here, which makes this waterfall more beautiful, but also for that reason we couldn't water slide. Besides, thanks to its hard-to-find location, the water here is very clean. At the foot of the waterfall, there is a rather large lake and the water is green in color. It is the perfect place to swim. Some of my friends swam there, while I went along the stream to discover more of the beauty of the surrounding area.
In addition to the beautiful stream and waterfall, the nature around this area is also very beautiful. Located quite far from the human habitation area, this forest still retains its pristine appearance, you can tell it by looking at the patterns on the rocks. Located near the stream, the flora here is also quite diverse, there are many species of trees I have never seen before. I also occasionally come across a few birds in the trees, some reptiles and some fish in the stream, which amuses me.
We were all very satisfied with the trip and stayed here enjoying the beautiful scenery and fresh air until the afternoon we went back to where we parked our car to go back to the city. I hope these photos also help you to appreciate some of its beauty. Thank you for taking the time to read my post and have a nice day.
