Yesterday was Vietnamese women's day. To celebrate the holiday, I and the other boys organized an outdoor camping trip to surprise the girls. The place we held was a coconut forest, which is located in Hoi An city and about 40km from Da Nang city center. When talking about Hoi An we always think of the old town, close to Hoi An, outside of the old town, there are many watery coconut forests that become popular nowadays.
There are 7 people in my group, at first, I just thought the whole group would go somewhere to play during the day but then we changed the plan to hold an outdoor camping party to surprise the girls.
We went across Cua Dai Bridge, went through Duy Xuyen district, and follow a small path to the beach. Then we will encounter the scene of coconut forest, the location of coconut forest is located in Duy Hai commune next to the beach. The coconut forests are planted to prevent the waves from hitting the coast. Not many residents live here so it still remain the wild beauty and scattered trees. It took more than 1 hour from Da Nang to get here, at the same time as the sun went down. One person in the group came here earlier to set up everything looked for firewood.
On this grass field, there are natural wide holes and filled full of water due to the heavy rains last few days. The large space of the area is planted with many rows of coconuts and casuarina trees to create the coconut forest tourist area. It was very crowded with tourists before the pandemic because the place is famous for check-in if visiting Hoi An.
The ecological area is very beautiful, next to the grass is a large sea, the tides are very high in the rainy season is very high, so this time is not suitable for us to swim on the sea. We pitched a tent, BBQ, cooked some foods, cut cakes, and wished each other all the best. At night this area is very dark and quiet, we can see the starry sky here, and in the distance are the fishing boats far from the shore sparkling with lights, and it was the full moon on that night and the moonlight illuminates the whole area. We played, danced and sang all night under a sky full of stars. We had a lot of fun.
The next day, I woke up in the morning, the sky was cloudy so I couldn't see the sunrise, but the surrounding scenery was very beautiful when it was bright, the birds singing and the waves hitting the shore created very peaceful sounds. It's relaxing for everyone, we've had some beautiful photos together at this location, and I want to share them with everyone. I wish all women in the hive community a happy and beautiful holiday.
