Gaza is quiet and can't help himself with the boredom, I need to go hunting, this is not me as he exclaimed aloud to his father, Dad, you left a legacy to me and you know how the hunters feel, I am missing the wisdom in the air, the chirp of crickets and sparrows and chatters of monkeys from one tree in search of banana plantation, the hiss of snakes, the knowledge of the new kingdom, my communications with the animals, the fear of the unknown, the joy of harvest.

My son, Shem the king of Gwaz is coming to our home today and we need to show him courtesy, everyone in the family is happy about his visitation but except you, please be patient and happy tomorrow is a lucky day. Gaza smiled and took a walk around the home garden with his father as he told him how he once became the greatest hunter of his time, Gaza obstruct his father, you once told me this same story when I was five years old, please, let me go help mum in the kitchen she might need more hands in preparation for the guest.

The king and his cabinet are here said Reheal as she hastened her feet to the kitchen. Gaza's father Mr Shekwoyadu, called out his family to welcome the king into the seating room after all the warm greetings Mr Shekwoyadu introduce his family starting with his darling wife Keith, first son Gaza, Samson and their beautiful daughter Racheal, her mum calls her Bwakosayi(meaning Everything has time). Darling serve the king a delicious meal and his cabinet, a long rectangle table was served with different dishes. The king said to Mr Shekwoyadu this meal reminds me of when we went to ask her hands in marriage and she prepared a meal that heals my wounds and trouble and I told you to let exchange the ladies since I was glutton. They all busted into laughter like children playing with the mud and beholding the moon in their hands after a long beautiful time spent the king felt fulfilled as he visited his home. Now, my promised fulfilled, thanks for coming to my house it's an honour to have a reputable king visit me, tonight the stars will eat with us and the sun shall shine by night for your sake and the moon shall be my pillow.

The king cabinet and the household of Mr Shekwoyadu stood and walk them out to their chariots, I promised and have fulfilled said the King. Huh! Mr Shekwoyadu replied, thirty years ago, you oath to do two things in my life and you just did, one by visiting and secondly you told me when you succeeded after your father the king you will ask me what I want, he node his head and apologised to his gentle friend, now, what do you want? Mr Shekwoyadu replied, not now. The blind man will see soon(it is getting dark) and you have a lot of people awaiting you in the palace and especially your family. The king left with a day full of smiles.

The next morning, Gaza the hunter took his arrows and bow, knives, gun and a pack of bullet, hoe, cutlass, lighter and torchlight as he went for mid-night hunting on the hills of Calamari, his father told him how fearful and dreadful animals live there, a few hunters go hunting on that hill and the tick forest, lions, tigers, elephants, pythons and other animals are seen in the forest which is fifty kilometres away from home. It's 12:30 am, one part of the forest is full of frogs croaks and growl of foxes. In the dark he saw someone, this must be a man seated on a stone with a calabash, he flashed through but couldn't see him anymore and he off his torchlight and saw him again, he draws closer to meet him but the man seems to fade away as he gets closer, what is wrong with my eyes lens? Squeeze his dirty hand into his eyes to clear the log in his eyes but finally, the man disappeared and left his calabash in the middle of three roads, this man must be the gatekeeper he thought deeply, what must I do? What does this calabash mean? Yes, I must offer something that means the world to me to unlock a good harvest. As soon as he dropped a necklace in the calabash made of the dragon eyes that his father gave him when he was a young boy, the three roads merge into one and he went hunting and caught many animals and was unable to take them home alone but sent out for help.

His Dad was surprised how he hunt such wild animals, my son take some of the bushmeat to king Shem and tell him how mighty God blessed you and if he asks you what shall I do for you on behalf of the oath to your father, tell him you want his daughter hand in marriage.

Gaza arrived at the king's palace and was given a warm welcome and he passed a night. It was morning
as he perambulate in the room, I haven't seen the princess, can they have good characters like my sister Recheal, princesses are always beautiful but what if my thoughts are wrong, my Dad once told me, marry a woman that can listen and heal your heart. Okay, let me wait patiently, guess what? The last daughter of the king came in and offer him water to drink as she saw him worried, her dress was simple and look like a house help in the king's palace.

The King summoned for him and said, ask one thing of me and I will grant your desires this is the last oath to your father but Gaza responded as his father had told him, If it pleases the king, can I have one of theprincessesses as a wife. Yes, my son the King ordered three of his daughters to come immediately and he took a look at them but it seems his heart was troubled and suffering fromenom of snakes and fighting a thousand soldiers. My king I'm sorry to say my heartbeat for none of themis but your house help who brought me a cup of water this morning when I was in distress. The king sent his servant to call all the young ladies to the palace and he took a look at them one after another, when he got to her, he said here she is my king. I can see the real me in her eyes lens myheart beatt fast like the drum of the ghosts and my eyes can see the true beauty of her, please I need her as my wife. As you ask so shall it be that is my last daughter among the four and it not right for the younger sister to marry before the seniors but for the oath, I swear to your father, I will avert the culture of marriage today?
