Their leader was a legendary creature called Santa, he was responsible for sharing duties to the creatures which they executed happily.
Now this magical kingdom were responsible for handing gifts to the people on earth especially little kids every Christmas season and that was why their leader Santa shared different roles to the creatures.
The elves were responsible for manufacturing gifts, the faires were responsible for listening to the requests of the little kids, the reindeers were responsible for transportation and other creatures had other responsibilities but the most important one was handing out the gifts to children which was handled by Santa himself.
The creatures all lived happily with each other and respected each other but the elves had a bad reputation of being naughty and being thieves and so whenever they gathered to carry out their roles santa warned the creatures especially the elves to avoid stealing anything and for a long time no stealing had been recorded.
Then came a particular year when they all gathered once again to carry out their roles for the Christmas season, everything was carried out normally and at the end of the day when they were done and about to go their homes emergency bell rang and they all gathered once again, santa came out to address them looking a bit upset which was rare.
Everyone something terrible has happened, my special ring has been stolen and you all know how important the ring is for without it i cannot distribute the gifts to the children so on that note a search will happen so as to find out where the ring is, everybody would engage in this search and i want every nook and cranny to be searched.
Everybody started murmuring amongst themselves, so many theories as to where the ring could be surfaced and some voiced out their opinions.
I honestly think the elves did it because they have the reputation of being thieves so i suggest they be searched first.
The giants said
What is that supposed to mean?, we agree that we have that bad reputation of being thieves but we have changed that lifestyle centuries ago so that accusation is baseless.
The elves said with anger
A general argument ensued, some backed the giants while others backed the elves but santa was quick to step in to avoid things escalating.
Their is no need blaming anybody because at the end of the day the thieves would be found, so please everybody should present themselves to the security for manual searching.
Santa said
The creatures lined up and a manual search was conducted which took several hours and at the end of the day the ring was not found.
Everybody was quite worried because of the importance of the ring for without it gifts would not be handed out which meant that christmas would be ruined for everyone so there was a bit of panick among them.
Santa started laughing which surprised everybody, he then calmed everybody and confessed.
The ring was never stolen, i had the ring with me the whole time.
He said and brought out the ring and raised it up for everyone to see, some were angry, some were puzzled and others demanded explanation which Santa gave.
I know that it might shock all of you but i had a valid reason for doing this, we all know that the elves did naughty things in the past but they have changed now and we need to trust them again, i did this to see if the elves would get blamed and sure enough they were blamed by some but I'm happy that some sided with them but i want everybody to trust them once again.
He said and everybody agreed with him
The giants and those who accused the elves apologized and happiness was restored once again, santa then said
This is how it should be, we should trust one another so we can spread joy to the children on earth and oh i also did it for the fun of it because who said santa can't have fun ho ho ho.
Santa laughed and everybody joined in the laughter.
