What do we do in a case like this?
This is the worst of them all, Tolani said to his twin brother Dami.
We both can not see what is ahead of us because the eyes that see ahead have gone blind, the eyes have decided to leave us to our fate.
This is pathetic. Dami added the light that has shown us the way all through our journey is no more but at least it would have taken us a bit further as we are almost getting to the end of the tunnel where we will no longer need this light but not here.
Certainly not here Tolani said as he burst into tears what shall we do at this point?
How do we accomplish this journey, how do we get to that place where we had always dreamed to be.
You know for sure that the light has always prevented obstacles making our movement to be smooth and steady now that the light is gone we should rest assured that the rest of the journey will be rough and slow as we will have to be recovering from one problem or the other before we can continue with our journey.
How long do you think it will take us to get there? Tolani asked his brother.

I can not tell Tola but we hope to get there if life permits us.
There is an African Proverbs that says " what an old man sees while on his seat even if a young man climbs the highest Iroko tree he will not see it"
This is what Tolani and Dami are crying for, the light they refer to is their Dad as they lost their Dad as a result of pneumonia which came as a result of the overexposure of his body to cold weather all the time despite several warnings from his children he still ignores and this is the result of his careless attitude to cold weather.
He died when the two boys were about to round up their university as Dami and Tola were just at the peak of becoming graduates before their Dad gave up the ghost.
Their father has been the light they use to drive all through their life since they never knew their mother as she died while giving birth to them.
But Dami, we can also be the light for the rest of our journey. All we need to do is focus on that part that Dad has put us on, not minding any distraction. Though I know it will not be easy, we have to make Daddy proud even in his grave.
The end to this Tonnel is still far Tola said, but we can still make it happen Dami encouraged.
Life wasn't easy after the passing away of their father but the boys were determined, they did not allow the death of their father to kill their dreams so they picked up from where their dad stopped and made sure they got to the end of the tunnel where the headlight is not needed anymore.
