Waking up, the thirty one years old felt really happy, everything seemed just how it was supposed to be, the smooth warm kisses from the morning sun, birds chirping melodies, the soft and gentle wind coming from the backyard lake outside her window. her room was already neat and tidy joined with the mouth watering egg sauce aroma coming from the kitchen downstairs, both grandma's signature, she couldn't wipe the smile stuck on her face "I love you gran gran!!!!" she screamed out in excitement as she ran downstairs to give her grandmother a very warm and tight embrace, she needed this feeling, the feeling of relaxation, it had been a while, she felt like she was a child once more.
Juno and gran gran were later joined in the dining room by her twelve years old cousin brother Cristan, and her Grandfather who had been teaching him how to find fish bait for their next expedition after they cleaned themselves up, the whole family was enjoying a happy moment when juno heard a deep maniacal voice "oh you're up?, good", she turned around but didn't see anyone, she was confused but she didn't show it, it seemed to her that she was the only one that heard that voice because her whole family was still enjoying breakfast...
" are you okay honey?, you know you need to get relax yourself more often" gramma said, somehow noticing her uncomfortable mood but she carried on and returned to her breakfast like nothing happened, lit up a smile to convince gramma she was okay.
"ever since you got that white collar job or whatever you kids call it these days, you've not been getting enough rest honey, you even lost weight, you need to eat more at least now that you're..." gramma suddenly froze along with grampa and her cousin brother who had his glass of milk still on his lips" what is this?, Gran Gran?!, Grandad!!... Cristian!!! .somebody talk to me!! " juno was frustrated and didn't know what to do, she noticed dark clouds forming through the windows and she went outside to observe.
There were crows flying around in circles, after a few minutes, they kept revolving all the way to the surface of the lake and back up "I've been waiting for you" another frightening voice spoke to her from within the circling crows, this was a female voice this time, she looked closely and she saw a young girl forming from the crows that were revolving earlier, she was on a black dress and to juno's surprise, she was standing on the water but when she was able to get a good look at her smirking, scary evil eyes she freaked out and ran back as fast as she could "hmph, don't you want to play with me?" the mysterious girl mockingly asked, "get away from me! " juno replied, closing the door behind her as she got inside the house, she locked the door and the windows, she could still see the girl outside walking majestically towards her grandparents house with crows behind her.
Juno covered the blinds immediately but she could still hear the crows caws getting closer, she barricaded the door with a chair and went to the dining room to check on her family but by now it was empty, no one was there "let's play a game my lovely one, if you win? I'll leave but if you lose?.... ha ha ha ha" juno didn't know how she could still hear her voice, she took a knife from the kitchen and went back to the door which was now vibrating as the sound of the crows got closer, juno held the knife tightening her grip as the "subsongs" from the crows ceased exactly at the other side of the door.
"who are you?" juno asked "who do you think?" another voice from inside the house responded, this send chills up her spine as she turned around quivering, she adjusted her grip on the knife just in case when she heard the rocking sound of her grandfather's armchair in the living room, she saw an old man with a jack o lantern for his head "i'm the boogeyma... " she woke up in her apartment immediately, sweating all over, her hands were still shaking, she sighed with relief, checked the time and went straight for the shower.
