What Did You Do?

Fred's clothes changed before his eyes. First they became gradually darker until they were black. Then a black mist enshrouded him, becoming a cape. The shovel blade twisted, as flexible as molten steel. Soon Fred was holding a wicked looking scythe. -@wrestlingdesires

“Just call me, Jack, and stop asking so many darn questions. So as I was saying, this really bad guy trapped me inside this pumpkin and gave me to another really bad guy who doesn’t have a head of his own. They kind of don’t like each other, and I’m caught in the middle of this sordid affair. So, I escaped from the headless guy, and now I want to summon- eh I mean, I want to call the other guy who trapped me inside this lantern. Then I can get back home.” -@litguru

The Halloween party

When Jared was younger, he always loved Halloween, it was his favorite season because he and his mother always used costume making as a means of bonding but ever since he lost his mother, he never saw reason to celebrate, and most Halloweens were spent indoors with loud music blasting. -@khaleesii

The Jack-O-Lanterns and the Mysterious Small Shop

In a shelf hidden in a corner, a gloomy-looking jack-o-lantern was watching the excited jack-o-lanterns with envy. The gloomy-looking jack-o-lantern was the oldest jack-o-lantern in the shop and has been on the shelf for two years now. It might be its luck but two Halloween seasons had passed and yet it remained on the shelf – unsold. -@yuki-nee

The Vacation

Rose was quitely checking for the strange woman in the woods when she bumped into something in the dark. With the help of the full moon's light she gently used her hands to trace the object and realised it was the strange woman lying flat on her face. “Ma'am, are you okay? You had us all worried out there. Please don’t cry everything is going to be just fine. She gently turned the woman towards her........what she saw staring back at her was not the strange woman but the most horrifying creature she had ever seen. -@daveyjones7

Halloween Party

The sound of the gust of wind filled the room with coldness. From the time I entered the room, I felt like their costumes were real. I knew that the costume should be scary but upon seeing them it's too much. Imagine, there's a man whose head is stabbed with a knife, added with blood falling slowly. I really thought it was real but Miessy said it was just a costume though it's realistic. -@mrnightmare.net

Hello, Harbinger

The town of Fenton Hollow burst into view, a ramshackle patchwork of turn of the century stately homes, brick hipster revival businesses, and a forestry heritage that clung desperately to the periphery. Bootsie bristled as he took in the plethora of Halloween detritus dangling from every surface. Pumpkins, cornstalks, and air-filled Halloween decorations abounded as he drove down Main Street. It sickened him.

Red Flag

It was my baby sister’s wedding, and because I loved her I was genuinely happy for her. I liked the man she was getting married to, he was a cool dude to hang out with. Our parents sat on their chairs, beaming with smiles as they drank expensive wine, looking proud and happy. Everyone around me was looking proud and happy, except me. I had this dark cloud hovering over me, sucking out any joy I could derive from this wedding ceremony of my baby sister. -@bruno-kema
