Saludos amigos de #hive y de #sketchbook, espero estén teniendo un maravilloso día, el día de hoy les muestro este dibujo de Simón Bolívar realizado en una lámina de papel bond, la cual es uno de los múltiples encargos de este mes de junio. Este encargo es para una representante del salón de sexto, donde estudia mi primita, petición que realizó para acomodar una cartelera en la escuela donde ella es docente, pidiéndome este dibujo a color de Simón Bolívar firmando, a color y sin dibujos en el fondo.

Today I show you this drawing of Simon Bolivar made on a sheet of bond paper, which is one of the many orders of this month of June. This order is for a representative of the sixth grade class, where my little cousin studies, a request she made to accommodate a billboard in the school where she is a teacher, asking me for this color drawing of Simon Bolivar signing, in color and without drawings in the background.
Para realizar este dibujo utilice algunas referencias, tanto para el traje como para la pose, debido a que igualmente los retrato de Simón Bolívar no son sentado y tampoco en una posición frontal, debido a que el sale más representado en posturas de semi perfil, así que armar el esquema del dibujo fue el paso más importante y más elaborado, además es la primera vez que realizó el dibujo de Simón Bolívar de este tamaño, aunque fue genial elaborar y dibujar su traje a esta escala.
To make this drawing I used some references, both for the suit and for the pose, because the portraits of Simón Bolívar are not seated and neither in a frontal position, because he is more represented in semi-profile postures, so putting together the outline of the drawing was the most important and most elaborate step, it is also the first time I made a drawing of Simón Bolívar of this size, although it was great to draw his suit at this scale.
Decidí realizar el dibujo a color para ir practicando tonos piel de manera suave, menos elaborados, pero con un buen resultado, siendo más directo en los detalles de estos tonos, evitando la variedad de capas, coloreado cada zona con 4 o 3 colores, de manera directa en la aplicación de cada uno. Próximamente estaré entregando este trabajo, y espero que a la señora le guste el dibujo que le realicé y quede satisfecha con mi trabajo.
I decided to make the drawing in color to practice skin tones in a soft way, less elaborated, but with a good result, being more direct in the details of these tones, avoiding the variety of layers, coloring each area with 4 or 3 colors, in a direct way in the application of each one. Soon I will be delivering this work, and I hope the lady likes the drawing I made and she will be satisfied with my work.

- Realicé las medidas del dibujo , dejando un margen de dos centímetros a cada lado, luego empecé a realizar la base del dibujo.
I made the measurements of the drawing, leaving a margin of two centimeters on each side, then I started to make the base of the drawing.
- Definir más el dibujo realizando la vestimenta, facciones y elementos del dibujos.
I further defined the drawing by making the clothing, features and elements of the drawing.
- Una vez listo el boceto empecé a remarcar todas las líneas de este con el lapicero, para después proceder a borrar todas las líneas hechas a lápiz.
Once the sketch was ready I started to mark all the lines of the drawing with the pencil, and then proceeded to erase all the lines made with the pencil.
- Apliqué una capa de color para la base del dibujo, realizando la con trazo suaves, con los tonos respectivos en cada area del dibujo.
I applied a layer of color for the base of the drawing, with soft strokes, with the respective tones in each area of the drawing.
- Empecé a realizar los tonos piel con carne, marrón, rosado y rojo. Y detalle el cabello usando negro.
I started to make the skin tones with flesh, brown, pink and red. And detail the hair using black.
- Detallé la vestimenta con sus respectivos colores, rojo para el pecho, amarillo para los detalles y azul para la vestimenta.
Detail the clothing with their respective colors, red for the chest, yellow for the details and blue for the clothing.
- Detallé la mesa con marrón y negro, plateado para el tintero, y los libros de diversos colores, haciendo cada uno distinto al otro. Al terminar detalle los ojos, finalizando con el procedimiento del dibujo.
Detail the table with brown and black, silver for the inkwell, and the books of different colors, making each one different from the other. At the end detail the eyes, finishing with the drawing procedure.
Este es uno de los diversos encargos que tengo en este mes de junio, así que ahora es que tengo dibujos por realizar y mostrarle, siendo la última semana de este mes la celebración de la semana de la primavera, así que se imaginarán qué tipos de dibujos debo realizar. Me encantó el resultado de este dibujo, además del tamaño en que lo realice, ya que nunca había hecho un Simón Bolívar de este tamaño, y tenía que se me distorsionara el dibujo, pero gracias a Dios al final todo quedó hermoso, y estoy muy contento con mi resultado.
This is one of the various orders I have in this month of June, so now I have drawings to make and show you, being the last week of this month the celebration of spring week, so you can imagine what kind of drawings I have to make. I loved the result of this drawing, besides the size in which I made it, since I had never made a Simon Bolivar of this size, and I had to distort the drawing, but thank God in the end everything was beautiful, and I am very happy with my result.
