The boardwalk and its shadows.
My first photo is my entry into the Shadow Hunters Contest, round 203 run by @melinda010100. Thanks for all the work, looks like it gets harder and harder to choose winners each time 😊
Photos are taken 22 January 2017 with my iPhone.
Location: Sotogrande, Cádiz province, Spain.
These photos depict my walk along the beach in Sotogrande… the boardwalk… the hidden lagoon on the beach… driving up the mountains a little further and the view back down, the stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea.
It was a sunny day but a bit windy 😎☀️🌊

Sotogrande beach.
Walking along the path until we reach the end.
Lonely palm trees in the wind.
Flowers/ succulents along the path.
At the end of the path we reached the beginning of a wooden boardwalk that takes us back, through large vegetation, towards Sotogrande port.
The boardwalk has branches off towards the sea/ beach… we went along it, turned around and followed the boardwalk again.
More shadows… 😉

But… suddenly… a little further along the boardwalk…
We discover a lagoon through the bamboo plants 😎 we have been here before but didn’t know there was a lagoon on the beach of Sotogrande. A nice find indeed… you can’t see it on the beach either. It’s a little bit further up. Hidden between a lot of vegetation around it.
At the end of the path…
Let’s drive up the mountain and discover some views from atop.
