"I am afraid of divorcing but in my dream I do that all the time. Why?" - a Dream interpretation


The dream

I am 27 years old and have been married for two years now. Recently (two weeks - a month) I have been dreaming almost the same dream that my husband and I are in a kind of quarrel and I pack a bag or suitcase to leave him. I feel that the dream is very "noisy", not calm. It is not known if I am really leaving or not.

In the real life, there are arguments between us from time to time, and I am quite afraid of leaving and being divorced. That dream I have frequently, almost every other day or so.

My Interpretation to your dream

Let me reassure you - the dream only reflects your fears and as such it is used to release excess energy that accumulates in your mind during the day. At the same time, my warm recommendation to you is to do an internal house check and find out what your worldviews, beliefs, feelings and general outlook lead to being so afraid of leaving/divorcing. Your obsession with the subject creates a sub-reality that is bubbling (= noise) below the surface.

There are actually two worlds in your life - one is what you know: You're married, you have more or less a normal relationship. In the second world, you sow the seeds of separation. You are anxious about a situation in which you will indeed separate and through your thoughts and feelings, you create this reality (in another dimension). If you continue to focus on it, that is to say, you will continue to worry about the subject, you may realize the situation sooner or later.

Do you know the adage - "What you fear the most will end up coming to you?" Well, there is a lot of truth in it and hence my recommendation.

You should release this fear of separation, of leaving. Not, heaven forbid, I wish you that. On the contrary, only by releasing fear will you strengthen your marriage. Then those dreams will stop to appear.

Fear is the result of perceiving a distorted reality. You may want to find out the reasons for this fear. Are you afraid of being alone? Are you afraid that if you separate you will not succeed financially? Afraid of how you will feel? Afraid of the reaction of the people in your life? You may want to examine with yourself the reasons, one by one, to get to their roots and identify the beliefs (i.e. the thoughts) that cause the same reasons to exist. Then, as a remedy, reverse your thoughts, reflect on the new thoughts-pattern and deny the contrary faith. Then, slowly the fears will disappear.

In the long run, you will retrain your mind to cease thinking alltogether. You will live from one moment to the next, in joy and trust, fearing nothing, especially the so-called bad thoughts. But for now, follow my initial advice and release the negative thinking, in your terms.
