El tema de la semana 10 Pedagogía, es otro concepto de importancia dentro de la humanidad.
¿De dónde viene la palabra pedagogía?, siempre nos preguntamos quien inventó esa palabra; ella proviene del griego ...paidagogeo...paida=niño ago=guía. La Real Academia Española la define como una ciencia que estudia la educación y la enseñanza donde se manejan elementos como la planificación, metodologías, evaluación.
La pedagogía va encaminada a resolver qué métodos de enseñanza se pueden utilizar para guiar a los niños en su proceso de aprendizaje, para que sea dinámico, creativo y de esta manera vayan descubriendo el mundo y sus relaciones en la vida cotidiana.
A veces escuchamos adultos que recuerdan momentos tenebrosos en cuanto a las experiencias de su escolaridad, limitantes y hasta dejaron de hacer cosas porque de niños en la escuela les hablaron de forma negativa hacia algo que realizaban. Hablar de maestros buenos o malos como siempre digo es de acuerdo a la experiencia de cada quien. Como sea sobrevivimos a todos esos maestros en mi caso que sólo tenían una preparación esencial para desempeñarse como maestros. Luego, con el paso de los años ofrecieron cursos de mejoras académicas para estos maestros, era libre, quien quería hacerlo.
Mi madre quien cuenta con 88 años, solo llegó hasta cuarto grado...no porque ella no quiso seguir sino por otras razones que en ese momento las creencias de mi abuela eran muy tajantes...su experiencia fue fuerte de como era tratada por el maestro cuando llegaba tarde a la clase...llegaba tarde no por capricho sino que justamente cuando comenzaban las campanadas para llegar a la hora, mi abuela de alguna manera hacía que ella llegara tarde ;entonces le pregunto: ¿y el maestro no sabía por qué de su tardanza? ella me responde que sí pero igual la castigaba...en estos tiempos se hace una investigación exhaustiva y se busca soluciones sin amedrentar al niño.
Recuerdo mucho a mi profesor de Educación Física cuando inicié la secundaria Rodolfo Rodriguez (QEPD) recién graduado (Upel), con conocimientos frescos y pedagogía en este caso en el área de deportes, creó el equipo de voleibol femenino donde yo era una sus mejores jugadoras y siempre fue muy dedicado en cuestiones de entrenamientos y respeto a todas las chicas que nos permitían viajar para los encuentros deportivos.

Sin darme cuenta llegué a prepararme como Bachiller Docente que recién se iniciaba esta modalidad y el título de egresado era Bachiller equivalente a Maestro en Educación Primaria...sin tener idea de como acepté que me inscribieran allí si no tenía ni idea que era lo que quería estudiar al ser bachiller. Bueno allí comenzó mi trajinar por el campo de la educación.
En este camino pasaron unos años cuando decidí enfilarme para prepararme como Licenciada en Educación, allí si me motivé mucho sobretodo en una asignatura que tenía que ver con el desarrollo del Ser humano en cada etapa de su vida, esta asignatura cambió mi visión de como los niños aprenden; dentro de tantas teorías e investigadores entender la importancia de los procesos de planificación, métodos a utilizar, técnicas, evaluación...todo lo que tiene que ver con la sistematización de la misma.
El mundo es cambiante, por lo mismo los procesos educativos deben ir adaptándose a ellos...como nos comportábamos en mi época, nada en comparación a la actualidad; los gobiernos de cada país deciden cuál es el mejor plan de estudio para preparar a sus habitantes por ello la forma de planificar, evaluar en diferentes épocas han sufrido variantes...se ha diversificado mucho los aprendizajes con el nombre de especialistas, son muchas las teorías que hay que manejar cuando se está en la praxis pedagógica. En la actualidad, veo que las nuevas generaciones de docentes a pesar de tener excelente preparación académica y muchos recursos para seguir preparándose van alineándose al uso de las mismas dinámicas de años atrás...no todos pero si en gran parte.
La praxis pedagógica es muy dinámica, los niños son tan diferentes, el maestro debe ir adaptándose y cómo siempre digo ser muy observadores para no cometer errores frente a los diferentes comportamientos que debe enfrentar día a día...la sociedad en este campo está muy exigente...por todos los cambios que se han generado desde las familias y como están organizadas estas. La preparación siempre debe ser parte de todo profesional, pero en el área de Educación hay que estar en todo.

The theme of the week 10 Pedagogy is another concept of importance within humanity.
Where does the word pedagogy come from, we always wonder who invented that word; it comes from the Greek ...paidagogeo...paida=child ago=guide. The Royal Spanish Academy defines it as a science that studies education and teaching where elements such as planning, methodologies and evaluation are handled.
Pedagogy is aimed at solving which teaching methods can be used to guide children in their learning process, so that it is dynamic, creative and in this way they can discover the world and its relationships in everyday life.
Sometimes we hear adults recalling dark moments in their schooling, limiting experiences, and they even stopped doing things because when they were children at school they were spoken to in a negative way about something they were doing. Talking about good or bad teachers as I always say is according to each person's experience. However we survived all those teachers in my case who only had an essential preparation to perform as teachers. Then, as the years went by, they offered academic improvement courses for these teachers, it was free, whoever wanted to do it.
My mother, who is 88 years old, only reached the fourth grade...not because she did not want to continue but for other reasons that at that time my grandmother's beliefs were very strong...her experience was strong of how she was treated by the teacher when she was late for class..... she was late not on a whim but just when the bell started ringing to be on time, my grandmother somehow made her late; so I ask her: did the teacher not know why she was late? she answered that he did but he still punished her...in these times a thorough investigation is done and solutions are sought without intimidating the child.
I remember very much my Physical Education teacher when I started high school Rodolfo Rodriguez (QEPD) recently graduated (Upel), with fresh knowledge and pedagogy in this case in the area of sports, he created the women's volleyball team where I was one of his best players and was always very dedicated in matters of training and respect for all the girls who allowed us to travel for sporting events.

Without realizing it, I got to prepare myself as a Bachelor Teacher who was just starting this modality and the title of graduate was Bachelor equivalent to Teacher in Primary Education ... without having any idea how I accepted to be enrolled there if I had no idea what I wanted to study to be a bachelor. Well, that was the beginning of my journey in the field of education.
A few years went by when I decided to prepare myself to become a Bachelor in Education, there I was very motivated especially in a subject that had to do with the development of the human being at each stage of his life, this subject changed my vision of how children learn; within so many theories and researchers understand the importance of planning processes, methods to use, techniques, evaluation ... everything that has to do with the systematization of the same.
The world is changing, therefore the educational processes must adapt to them...as we behaved in my time, nothing compared to today; the governments of each country decide what is the best study plan to prepare its inhabitants, therefore the way of planning, evaluating in different times have suffered variants...learning has diversified a lot with the name of specialists, there are many theories to handle when we are in the pedagogical praxis. At present, I see that the new generations of teachers, in spite of having excellent academic preparation and many resources to continue preparing themselves, are aligning themselves to the use of the same dynamics of years ago...not all of them, but a great part of them.
The pedagogical praxis is very dynamic, children are so different, the teacher must adapt and, as I always say, be very observant in order not to make mistakes in front of the different behaviors he/she has to face day by day...society in this field is very demanding...because of all the changes that have been generated from the families and how they are organized. Preparation should always be part of every professional, but in the area of education you have to be in everything.
