A bit different Caturday

You remember I once told you that I spotted a toad swimming in the water bowl of the cats. It was at night and the moment it sensed my presence, it tried to slip "undetected" out of the bowl, leaving wet tracks behind. It was really very funny.

The truth is that I really like the toads, but they are very shy animals and always want to disappear when they see people. And I have never been able to capture them.
(Even this time, when I found this one in the bowl for the air conditioner water.)

Cats this time didn't pay to it any attention.

At the beginning of summer this year, when the toads were tiny, our beast Shisho tried to play with them - you know, anything that moves must be killed, or at least harassed.

I have been able to put an end to this activity of his many times. And the best thing is exactly this - that toads are very timid animals and quickly hide from everything living around. So I hope none of them were hurt.

The situation is absolutely different with the other representative of our garden zoo - the hedgehog.

I don't know how long this hedgehog has lived in the garden, but every time I see it at the cat food bowls, it acts as if it has seen the most dangerous thing in the world - a human 😱

I understand why it is so fearful - the cats don't want to play with it. 😹 They simply accept its presence in the garden with annoyance, but even rather pretend not to notice it - they are very funny.

But they don't seem to have a problem with it at all and the only problem is when it sees me and immediately tries to hide and I try to pet it 😂 (imagine stroking a hedgehog) and leave it more cat food on the place where it hid.
