Remember the witch? I guess I found her some company. Let’s check this imperial IPA.

Well, do you remember the witch and her potion from about a month ago? I think she had brewed a pretty solid imperial stout.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the price tag and the quality of this beer. I visited the same shop again and saw a very good company of the with. This time it’s just an ordinary person.

He seems very thoughtful. I wonder what’s in his head. Maybe he doesn’t know what to do with all these hops. So what am I gonna do if I have a lot of hops. Of course, bring all the quantity in the beer. And that’s how an IPA is born. And it’s not an ordinary IPA. It’s an imperial one and comes with a very impressive alcohol content.

7,8% can bring you a very decent head twist, especially if you had a busy day and you are tired back at home. What made me further impression was that these people had infused the IPA with Yellow-Sub and Mosaic hops. As more experienced beer lovers know, these hops are very fruitful and citrus flavoring. And all this came in the 1,5$ 500ml price tag, which is quite impressive.

Actually the beer quality is above average and there are really a decent quantity of hops used. There’s a beautiful thick head which is very lasting. The color is dark yellow, a bit orange and it’s hazy. In mouth this feels very thick and the high alcohol is not felt in mouth. Sometimes these high alcohol beverages can have quite biting and sometimes unpleasant mouthfeel, but here this is not the case.

I can tell that these beers can easily get one of my favorite ones to enjoy after busy days. Also, the design is not that unique, but the cans are distinguishable. You can easily spot these on the beer shelves.

I can easily give this beer a score 7/10, but considering it’s price I’ll give it one bonus point. So overall - 8/10. Very pleased with the product. I may even like it a bit more than the Stout.

Cheers and wish you a pleasant Friday!
