Take a deep breath!

Eliana was woken up by her mom to get ready for school so she could drop her off before leaving to work. It was her first year in college and also the first day of her semester examinations.

Eli, as she was called in short, stretched and yawned as she struggled to get out of bed. Her body was weak "get ready Eliana I don't want to be late for work" her mom told her as she left her room.

She raised her head up slowly as her eyes went to her wall clock, she immediately jumped out of bed, her exam was in two hours and she had to be seated thirty minutes to it's commencement.

She frantically arranged her bed and rushed to the bathroom. She was out in no time, and dressed up real quick. Her heart raced, she was scared what the questions would look like plus she didn't want to be late.

She picked up her book and headed to the kitchen to grab her breakfast. After eating her mom was ready and off the went.

She shook throughout the ride as she flipped through her notebook. When the car came to a halt, she wanted to step out of the car but her mom held her hands.

"Eli, look at me," her mom said softly. She raised her head and looked her mom in the eyes and said "mom I'm scared". Her mom held her hands tighter "you're my perfect daughter, the smartest in the world, the most beautiful I know you're gonna smash those questions, you're just as brilliant as your father was, don't fret okay! Take a deep breath and make us proud".

A bead of tear dropped from Eliana's eyes as she wiped it with the back of her palm and hugged her mother so close. "I love you Mom". Her eyes sparked as she said those words. "I love you too my princess, you go now ok!".

She got out of the car feeling a lot better as she took a deep breath and said to herself "I got this"! She smiled and walked away to meet her friends.

Her mom felt proud like never before. She said a little prayer for her girl as she ignited the engine and zoomed off.
