My Actifit Report Card: June 28 2022

Another Tuesday trip up to Flagstaff and a chance for a great hike on the pine forest trails with Lulu. Great exercise and we both enjoyed our time there.

Recent heavy rains had flooded some areas but the trails weren't in too bad a shape, just some erosion and broken shrubs that didn't slow us too much. A nice climb to the base of Mars Hill and back down for some strenuous miles.

Lulu was in the mood yo move along with just a few piddle pauses and only to some time to stop for a splash in the pond near the end. Nothing like a cool dip for my hot doggy 🐕 although I wish I could have taken a splash.

The sky was threatening with ominous dark clouds when I headed out for an earlier afternoon walk as I didn't want to be out in a storm.

I stayed close to home by looping around on the nearby flat roads as the wind picked up and a few raindrops fell. My pace was off a bit but the morning walk had been a good one do not a big deal.
The rain really started to come down just as I was getting home and we enjoyed a good couple of hours of steady rain which we really needed..
Hopefully we'll have some water over at Lynx Creek tomorrow.
