Hello music lovers! 📻 🎧 🎤 🎶 🎼 📢

How are you? I had a couple of very bad days last week and ended up in hospital with a broken ankle and couldn't post anything. But I've been listening more.
And now I'm at home, I have to rest for a while :) 😎

There's plenty of music, including new, so there's no need to worry about being bored. Here are some of the tunes that filled my head last week in the hospital.

The Horrors - Lout

This band is very hard to define. Throughout their 16-year career, they have changed their musical expression regularly. I like one YT statement about their evolution: GaragePunk --> ArtRock/Shoegaze --> DreamPop/SynthPop ---> Cyberpunk/Industrial. This piece is from their's latest EP, two months ago.

Japanese Breakfast - Be Sweet

Japanese Breakfast is a project by American musician Michelle Zauner. She has been performing successfully under this name since 2016. Her form of likable experimental lo-fi indie-pop is attracting more and more listeners. This song is a promotion for their third album Jubilee, which will be released in June this year.

Caspian - Division Blues

This song is from the latest album (On Circles, January 2020) of this American post-rock band. They're a bit metal-leaning but this still sounds pretty epic. As for the blues, I think it's just the word in the title...

Mick Jagger with Dave Grohl - EAZY SLEAZY

Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger joins forces with Foo Fighters drummer and founder Dave Grohl in a new song about the current situation in which covid-19 has plunged us.
"The song is about how this closure will one day be a thing of the past, and it's filled with this much-needed optimism," Jagger explained.

Tomahawk - Dog Eat Dog

American rock supergroup. Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle), Duane Denison (The Jesus Lizard), John Stanier (Helmet), and Kevin Rutmanis (Melvins/ex-Cows). The band Tomahawk recently released their fifth album Tonic Immobility which sounds loud, dark, ironic, and eccentric, like all their albums so far :)

Gojira - Amazonia

This was a YT suggestion. At first, I thought it was a Brazilian band, but after quick and short research it turned out to be a French heavy metal band. Their new album Fortitude is out on April 30th. All proceeds from this song go to The Articulation of Indigenous Peoples of Brazil (APIB). A good and punchy song. Contribute something :)

The four-piece blues band from Novigrad, Croatia, presents their first single as an announcement of their debut album Instramental. If you like blues it's worth a listen.
