A Tale of Two Pizza's - Docking Time moves fast (Week 16)

The Captain informed Manzanilla of what he learned from the radio message, "the word from the Army ship is, that they would be at the port within the hour. They skirted from the outside and made it around to an off area further along the river, an inlet past where the bandits seemed to be coming from. The pounding bass and waste case pizza faces that were hanging around there makes it seem likely that this be where the scoundrel’s forces are. There are options the troops have but the commander thinks it is most effective to go in fast and get to the controller of this operation and gather intel. The captain, went on. "As for us, landing is tricky, if the boys clear out the port we could land and unload, if not we'll have to manoeuvre out here and shuttle boats in come night fall, which is not advised. The troops could secure the land to where we could unload by shuttle boat." He said to Manzanilla.
Manzanilla plumped up red and white from the time at sail, but almost in a way that he was delicious in his ability to be soo stuffed yet ready for any kind of occasion he spoke, "Mmm yes, let the troops take the port, we'll have to deal with these scoundrels now or later. Send them scattering towards all other ways is best to do that now, see if you can send word to my brother about our arrival at the port. I believe there is alleys up at the port however, how loyal they are now sounds like their loyalty is up for grabs like single slice special. Let us land at the port and perhaps get me talking with whomever these scoundrels' leader is and work out all the angles." He stared out at the land which was in view.

It felt like a few hours they waited out from the coast line. They were waiting for the word from the troops, and ultimately from the captain...there was a slow bustle on the ship as the crew readied for port.

Tolcetta and Picholine talked in the port of the boat, Manzanilla watched the two ladies engaging when the captain pierced his attention with the update. The Captain said "The troops have landed and secured a group of middle men, they call themselves the Pizza Bandits. They lead raids from this location. Our troops think they are on a raid right now as the place is almost cleared out."
Manzanilla spoke "Lets dock at port, I'll go talk to these Pizza Bandits, I want your crew to help secure the port and protect the cargo.
How far behind are the supply ships from us?"
"They are still a ways out, they will make it soon, they have passed the most dangerous part of the passage but now there is not as much wind, I’ll keep you informed. My crew will secure the port, this boat, the cargo, and the passenger's even on land, you can count on that." The Captain went on, "We shall be docking in the next half hour, and Please let the ladies know."
Manzanilla smiled, nodded and walked towards the ladies who were still talking. "Ladies we will be docking within the hour, our troops have secured the port, there are Pizza Bandits who run this port and raids on the communities so be careful, the captain crew will be guiding the port and this boat, I must go talk to the Bandits middle men to see what can be done. Please stay on the ship, I cannot have anything happening to either of you. The captain will remain on ship at all times with a lean crew. I am sorry it might not be the best open armed welcome, but it sure is an adventure. Look at that sun setting remember because tonight dawns a new day."
The women looked at him, both smiled, Picholine arose hugging her man as she kissed him right on the lips in the swaying motion as the ship started inwards faster than they expected. Tolcetta, seeing this passionate side of Picholine and Manzanilla, she smiled with the warmth of knowing the beauty that love and passion is. Blushed, and then went below to check the wine on lees.

Manzanilla feet rooted to the dock floor like he had never been before, as though he was made to roll which he almost did as it would have been just as natural if he did given his size oblong size. He was off the boat and over to the troops who walked him to the holding room on the other large decrepit rusted out ship that was in the port, presumably the bandits headquarters. The Commander said, "We have captured two small-time pack leaders, the rest of all the people who live here are out on a raid, presumably to impede the delivery of your brothers pizzas. We have secured the port area, and are working on getting word to your brother, a runner has been sent. There is still scraps of bandits here and there so be warned this place is controlled by us but the bandits don't know that yet. What would you like us to do Manzanilla?"
"Take me to these Bandit leaders, it is time to have some words." Manzanilla said as his face started to go red like pimento.
