The city of Havana received in 2016 the title of "Wonder City" as a result of an international contest in which millions of people around the world voted for their favorite cities.

However, it was long before, throughout its 500 years of existence in the largest of the Caribbean islands, that Havana has been building that overwhelming charm that captivates all its visitors.

I have personally witnessed it in every couple that chooses Havana and its city streets and corners as a backdrop for their memories as newlyweds, as an accomplice of their love, as a guardian angel of their relationship.

To understand all this you have to come and walk its streets, meet its people, experience firsthand the sensations caused by a beautiful environment like few others, original as left by their ancestors of the colonial era, quiet, cheerful and familiar.

All of Cuba is like this, but Havana even more so. When you arrive here, the first sensation is that of feeling safe as if you were in your own home, that completely private space where you feel protected from everything. So are the streets of this city stopped in time.

That is precisely another of its charms. While most cities in the world have modernized, burying the rustic past, in Havana survive those times when people lived more calmly and everything seemed to be simpler, and there were more details and decorations, and cars were bigger and noisier, and people were kinder.

All that lost in time, but still existing in Havana, is a wonderful attraction to relive under the intense Caribbean sun. And many people around the world know it. That's why they choose this city for their vacations... and their memories on the most important dates of their lives.

This is the case of this young couple who are celebrating their wedding anniversary and decided to come to the wonder city to live that moment. Of course such an important celebration deserved to immortalize the moment in the most beautiful way possible.

So they contacted me to be their photographer that day, accompanying them around the city and taking lots of pictures along the way. After some time editing, here I share with you some of the results, with which everyone was very satisfied.
