The small fishing village of Vama Veche. The most nonconformist place on the Black Sea in Romania.
An old "friend" from the village.
In a liberal community, it didn't bother anyone if you were dressed or not on the beach!
On the water and around...
Family and some friends.
Father and son! The father in the photo was 46 at the time, now the son is 40...
The nostalgia...
I was once young and love the sea. I still love the sea, but I'm not young anymore...
Back in time, thirty years ago. My favorite place to go to the sea in Romania was Vama Veche. A village near the Bulgarian border.
Vama Veche was the meeting place for artists, young non-conformists, rockers, and nostalgia after the hippie period.
Vama Veche was the place of nudists, of lovers of a simple life in nature. In Vama Veche there were no hotels, people stayed in local houses, as we did, or in tents.
The favorite food was... drink and music!
I liked to take pictures, only on film, of course. All the photos put here are photos taken of my old photographs.
I hope they illustrate how it was thirty years ago at the sea, at the Black Sea, Vama Veche, in Romania.
For me, these few old photos found in a box are a little piece of our life, an everlasting nostalgia...
