You know my love for Iceland and of course, I always want to go back but I haven't planned anything for this year or the next, that is until now...
The new volcanic eruption started a couple of days ago in Fragladallsfjall valley. The last time it was going on too but I failed with timing and it stopped pretty much just after I arrived in Iceland.
Now it's erupting again and usually, it goes on for a couple of months. Also, now I plan to go back to hopefully finally see it. Go to Iceland just for 2 days, enough to see the volcano and/or do some other hike in the nearby area. Still, I haven't made the final decision to go yet, pretty tight on funds tho. I just arrived from the Czech Republic and will go to Madeira in less than 4 weeks. To press even a couple of days of Iceland in between still gets expensive.

If I decide to go then I would go exactly in 2 weeks, this is the earliest the flight tickets have a reasonable price tag. Will see, I will let you know at some point if I really decide to go so spontaneously.
