Four years ago, my best friend decided to go to Germany to work on a rural farm. I went with him. I wanted to photograph Germany and check if all the positive things they say in the media are true.

In Bulgaria, it is more than normal for unqualified people to work in Germany. Today we will look at whether there is a danger of such jobs, whether the German streets are clean and how I saw the overall situation there.

I'M SO GLAD I DID MY TV !!!

Germany for my friend turned out to be a nasty host family. And I was not at all impressed by the cities we passed through on the bus during the three days in Bremen. As soon as we got off at Bremen station, we had to jump over homeless people sleeping on the street. They were lying down right in front of the entrance to the central station. Wrapped in rags, we could only see their dirty hands outstretched for begging. You cannot see such a thing in Bulgaria. Here, our economy may be worse than Germany's, but the homeless are ashamed to sleep on the streets.

CLEANLINESS?! If I take you to a gypsy quarter in our homeland, it will be cleaner! I just want to emphasize that I am not a blind patriot. I describe things as I saw them.

We went to the central square of the city of Bremen. The architecture there looked majestic. But only there. Then they took us by bus and we went to the house where my friend would live and work. Nice wooden house on two floors. The village also looked very beautiful, quiet and peaceful. I went out to photograph the courtyards of the houses and the beautiful German nature. I didn't know there were such beautiful landscapes in Germany. I took an old bicycle from the yard of the house. They left him for the workers to walk to a nearby cow farm with him.

I didn't come back until the evening. Miro looked very tired, and I was engrossed in my pictures. He told me that he worked all day without any rest. Cleaned the cow droppings, the whole farm and milked the cows. He heard from the workers that he would never get the promised 1,500 euro salary. At most, he would receive 1,000 euros.

Strange right?

The next day, the situation happened again. I was shooting all day and he was collecting cow shit. He leaned back for a moment to rest and the boss started screaming. Then Miro could not stand it - tired and exhausted, he took his backpack and left the house. He called me and said it was time to go home to Bulgaria. I was in the other village, because in ours there was no shop, not even a cafe. I waited for him to come on foot, then I called a Bulgarian from Bremen to take us by car to the city.

We went to the station. It turned out that there is a bus to Bulgaria in three days. We got tickets and lived these days as homeless people in Germany. It was fun and cold. I didn't want to sit in the station because there were too many questionable guys and covid mask check which I hate. So I let Miro sleep there, while I walked around as far as my eyes could see.

After finishing school, I really wanted to emigrate from Bulgaria. I worked in Romania, the Czech Republic, Spain and Italy. Do you know what is common everywhere - slavery. Although we live in the 21st century, rich people still cheat us - the dreamers. I saw a lot and I tell you from my own experience that what they show on TV is complete nonsense.

If you don't have good friends abroad to go to until you get back on your feet, you'll be spinning in the hamster wheel.

In conclusion, I can say that I did not like the cities of Germany, but their villages are perfectly developed. Every yard has animals and produce. It was the same in Spain. Perhaps the economy of a country largely depends on the villages - export of goods. What Bulgaria lacks. We have wonderful lands, but the people are poor and cannot produce. That's why we eat potatoes from Egypt from German chains...
