Grand Central Terminal in New York is a popular tourist attraction. In the main hall, you get the feeling that there are more people inside to take photos than actual travelers. You could almost forget that it is an actual train station. I also took my camera away from the crowded areas. Just a few meters from the main hall, you can find deserted platforms like this one.
Das Grand Central Terminal in New York ist eine beliebte Touristenattraktion. In der Haupthalle hat man das Gefühl, dass sich mehr Leute darin befinden, um Fotos zu machen, als eigentliche Reisende. Man könnte schon fast vergessen, dass es sich um einen Bahnhof handelt. Ich habe mich mit meiner Kamera auch abseits der überlaufenen Bereiche bewegt. Nur wenige Meter von der Haupthalle entfernt, befinden sich menschenleere Bahnsteige wie dieser.

The second photo shows an empty subway car from the inside. Even the centre of Manhattan is not always crowded everywhere. Even here you can find many opportunities to take pictures without being disturbed.
Das zweite Foto zeigt einen menschenleeren UBahn-Wagon von innen. Selbst das Zentrum von Manhattan ist nicht immer und überall überfüllt. Selbst hier kann man sehr viele Gelegenheiten finden, um in Ruhe zu fotografieren.
