I want to tell you about the Botanical Garden, which is located in my hometown of St. Petersburg.

The botanical garden is not far from my office, and I really love to walk there. Especially my favorite seasons are spring, summer and autumn. These are the seasons when the botanical garden is filled with flowering plants and flowers. In winter, life stops, and I am waiting for spring to come again and the first flowering of trees.

In the Botanical Garden, there is a large arboretum park, where many trees, shrubs and flowers grow. Also in the Botanical Garden there are greenhouses where plants grow that need extra light and care. They cannot grow outside.

I like to walk in the park and take pictures of flowers and plants. I think these are my favorite subjects for photography. I take a lot of shots from different angles and under different lighting conditions. Then I choose the most successful photographs.

This time in the Botanical Garden it was the season of rose bloom. I have come across many rose bushes. Roses were of all shades and shapes. They also smelled delicious.

There is an old abandoned Japanese garden here. A new Japanese garden was built at the other end of the park and is only allowed there on a guided tour. And this one remained in the form of a small reservoir and irises planted nearby.

The garden has wide central paths as well as narrow and inconspicuous paths. You can really walk there and breathe fresh air. This is an ozasis in the city center.

I am always looking for a place in the garden where poppies grow. It is very beautiful and looks like a whole huge field of poppies.

Also in the garden on the street are grown such southern plants as cacti. I don't know what happens to them when winter comes ... but in summer they always grow in this place.

Also in the garden you can find a lot of lilies.
