📷 At the fair of folk craftsmen

Have a nice day! During the pandemic, we did not hold fairs, however, probably like everywhere else. However, I have a lot of photos left in my "bins", which I will show you today.

If you look at the goods of each seller at the fair, you will not have enough for a whole day. What you won't see here...

Moreover, some craftswomen brought not only their products, but also the machines on which they wove them, embroidered them, wove belts or lace.

So many unusual devices for creativity could be seen.

Of course, the goods were no less.

Someone immediately taught everyone how to carve pictures on wood correctly. Showed how to draw various patterns on kitchen utensils.

Other craftswomen taught embroidery.

I saw a lot of products made of felt wool: jewelry, scarves, scarves, brooches, flowers...

After all, in the old days, every hostess herself wove and embroidered everything in the house. And the dowry girls began to prepare from an early age. Both tablecloths and bed linen were decorated with original handmade ornaments.

All the goods could be purchased inexpensively or tried to make yourself :-) The main thing would be the desire, and the masters had plenty of material.

I hope that this summer we will still be allowed to hold fairs, then I will show you a lot of interesting things again.

  • Have a wonderful Friday everyone and if you have some interesting market-related photos, go ahead and submit them in the #MarketFriday tag and link to your article in the Express post by @dswigle.

And now, as always, flowers...
