Greetings friends of #hive and #homeedders, I hope you are having a great day, and that it is full of creativity. Today I show you this drawing, which was a request from my little cousin's teacher to make the teacher's day poster.
El día martes luego de que la maestra viera la lámina de exposición de mi primita, le preguntó si podía realizar este dibujo de un maestro de Simón Bolívar. Así que decidí dibujar a Andrés Bello, el cual ya había realizado antes por una exposición de otra de mis primitas (la que está en 4to), y este era en una hoja blanca, así que lo realice en la tarde de ayer, para que ella lo entregara hoy.
On Tuesday, after the teacher saw my little cousin's poster, she asked her if she could draw this picture of a teacher of Simón Bolívar. So I decided to draw Andres Bello, which I had done before for an exhibition of another of my cousins (the one in 4th grade), and this was on a white sheet, so I did it yesterday afternoon, for her to deliver it today.

Andrés Bello nació en Caracas el 29 de noviembre de 1781 y falleció en Santiago de Chile, el 15 de octubre de 1865. Fue un político, diplomático, humanista, filósofo, ensayista, poeta, filólogo venezolano nacionalizado en Chile, también considerado como el más grande humanista de Iberoamérica.
Andrés Bello was born in Caracas on November 29, 1781 and died in Santiago de Chile on October 15, 1865. He was a Venezuelan politician, diplomat, humanist, philosopher, essayist, poet, philologist, nationalized in Chile, also considered the greatest humanist of Ibero-America.
También fue el fundador de la Universidad de Chile, de la cual fue rector en el período de 1843 a 1865. Sus padres fueron Anna Antonia Lopez y Don Bartolomé Bello, y su primera esposa Mary Ann Boyland, la cual falleció en 1821 (7 años después de su matrimonio), y su segunda esposa Elizabeth Antonia Dunn en 1824.
He was also the founder of the University of Chile, of which he was rector from 1843 to 1865. His parents were Anna Antonia Lopez and Don Bartolomé Bello, and his first wife Mary Ann Boyland, who died in 1821 (7 years after their marriage), and his second wife Elizabeth Antonia Dunn in 1824.

With the hb pencil I made the base of the drawing, using lines, strokes and figures.
Then I proceeded to shape the drawing with the same pencil.
With the 2b pencil I applied strokes in several areas, showing the future shading areas and giving some dimension.
With 3b I applied a darker layer and highlighted areas such as hair, eyes, eyebrows and clothing.
With 6b I darkened and detailed several areas and made a gradient background to finish the procedure.
Hoy cuando llegó mi primita me dijo que su maestra ahora le pidió dos dibujos más, uno de Simón Bolívar y otro de Francisco de Miranda, así que por lo menos por ahí vienen dos futuras publicaciones con otros de estos dibujos a lápiz.
Today when my little cousin arrived she told me that her teacher now asked for two more drawings, one of Simón Bolívar and another of Francisco de Miranda, so at least there are at least two future publications coming with other of these pencil drawings.
Extrañaba hacer dibujos así a lápiz, y volver a lo que fue mi inicio como dibujante, antes de usar color y pintura, me encantó el resultado de este dibujo, así que estoy emocionado por hacer los demás.
I missed doing drawings like this in pencil, and going back to what was my beginning as a drawer, before using color and paint, I loved the result of this drawing, so I'm excited to do the others.
