SOCIAL MEDIA EVOLUTION!

The social media was initially a platform for a diverse evolution of informations via publications and interactions, legit and false informations could be broadcasted across the globe right from the comfort of ones bed but now, there have been an evolution on social media from sharing of mere informations to sharing conversations and felling attracted to an informer that is regarded distant or virtual because we barely see them in person.
These felling of attraction between two distant or virtual friends varies from person to person depending on how dedicated they have both committed themselves to themselves. Some commitments grow into a best friendship (bestie) or even dating as a relationship.
In the federal capital territory, i came across this couple who got married over the internet. According to Mrs anonymous,
"We knew ourselves as facebook friends, got attracted to each other and extended branches across other social media platforms, dated for a year without seeing each others faces then finally agreed to meet and right now, we are happily married".
This was a statement made by a bride during her reception some years ago in FCT. Indeed, the power of social media is never to be underestimated and i was left wondering how they both made it work out because, these couples were looking absolutely gorgeous I even had to forcefully stop staring at the bride. Then in my mind I asked, God when?
THE SIDE EFFECTS!
Knowing someone virtually can be quite tricky because you can never know them so well to the point of sharing your heart desires and interests with them. I've had several friends who date online and never met their date in person till they broke up which is very funny and painful.
I've also heard how people become friends online and plan to meet up in the real world and one person ended up loosing his or her life. The most common is meeting someone online, go through their gallery and you can't get enough of how beautiful they look on their pictures but when you finally get to see them in person that is when you will remember that Photoshop and Snapchat were not built for nothing.
If not that I have seen how two beautiful couples got married from knowing each other on social media, I would have said that social media dating and relationship is a whole scum. But destinies are different and your destiny can work differently from mine.
MY OPINION AND SUGGESTION!
The social media is not a perfect place to fish your soulmate or any other kind of hair cream but, the best thing if you develope feeling for a virtual friends whom you've never met before, i suggest letting them know how you feel about them and at the same time let them know that it is just a feeling and nothing serious so they don't take it personal or take you for granted.
Because these days if you mistakenly tell someone how much they mean to you or how you feel about them, that is when attitude comes into play and your feelings get used. So the best you should do if you are very close in location find a safe venue to hook-up and get more acquainted with each other then from there you will know what part to take.
No matter how much you fall in love for a virtual friend online do not be outrageous and never you forget that the greatest love is,
For God so love the world that he gave his only what....?? John 3:16.
