Hi, all my friends on hive And to all my inkwell familiesā€¦

Today is another day to keep up with our good work and make sure we have a fun time with family and friends. Life is cool by the way because we all have to give thanks to the source that created life and everyone that comes our way stretching out their hands of kindness to us directly or indirectly. This would take me down to the prompt of today which is ā€œUNLIKELY HEROā€

Sara was sitting in the corridor this very morning when her mum called her to come inside for laundry. She was so lazy just as it was for most last born in the family. She shrugged quietly, not letting her mom realize her mood. She is just 10 years of age.
SAAARRRAHH!!!ā€¦ Her mum shouted, then she replied ā€œI am coming maā€. Then she went inside the house to get the laundry done. Moments later her mum told her she would be leaving the home so Sara should make sure she remains indoors and take good care of the home upon her arrival. She was actually happy because she would be opportune to leave the home for some while before her mumā€™s arrival.

She went out a few minutes after her mum left the home. She had planned to visit her friend living next door so they could have some gist and play together. Upon getting to her friendā€™s home she heard some sound from the bush behind her. She was in doubt about where the sound was coming from but she could easily tell that itā€™s the sound of a bird. She felt like looking for it because this would be her first time touching a bird. She had always seen it in pictures of textbooks and charts and felt them flying high above the sky. She had in mind that she would make sure she found it.

She already spent hours looking for the bird but she couldnā€™t get the exact location. She was baffled. She already found her route out of the bush before she got some pain in her feet. She had wondered what it could be, but when she checked it she realized she just got injured by a broken bottle. Her feet were bleeding šŸ©ø, she already knew she would be in trouble when she get home. She tried to apply some first aid to stop the bleeding and hopped out of the bush. She was about to get out of the bush when she saw the little bird šŸ¦ in front of her. It was a little šŸ£ one. Maybe she already lost her mother.

Sara took it quickly and ran back home. Luckily her mum wasnā€™t back home yet, so she quickly took the bird to the backyard and got it a carton cage. She gave it some food and water but the bird couldnā€™t eat them. Sara could only afford a little amount to buy some dry ground cereal. She felt so happy. How she wished her mum returned late or even the following day. She had to think so much about the bird's health. She would always peep by the window side to see it was doing fine.

The following day she was happy to go and check the little bird but sadly upon getting there the bird was already dead. She cried silently so her mum wouldnā€™t hear her. Then she gently took the little bird, dug a hole, and buried it. She named the bird ā€œheroā€ even after its was dead.
