"Dragon Ball Z" follows the adventures of Goku who, along with the Z Warriors, defends the Earth against evil. The action adventures are entertaining and reinforce the concept of good versus evil. "Dragon Ball Z" teaches valuable character virtues such as teamwork, loyalty, and trustworthiness." But that's according to Google.

But let me tell you what I think about DragonballZ and its protagonist, Goku. It's all a lie.

But before I tell you what they lied about. Let me share to you my memories about this certain anime.

When I first heard about this anime series it was back in 1991, though it came out in 1989, and I was amazed by it. And I immediately became a fan of Son Goku. Me and my friends would play and act like the characters in DragonballZ, although everybody wanted to be Goku. We would keep shouting "Kame-hame Wave" and we would copy the fight scenes in the action-filled anime and it was really fun.

We all enjoyed watching the anime together and talked about it even after the episode was done. Talking about different possibilities on what would happen on the next episode. I was Goku's biggest fan, up until I saw the Frieza arc.

What you're about to read is what really transpired during the battle between Goku and Frieza.

So Goku after numerous attempt to beat Frieza was down and almost out of gas. Obviously, he was no match for Frieza. And since he realized that he couldn't beat his foe, Goku decided to create an energy ball taken from the life-force of all living and non-living creatures on the planet.

In the anime, he asks for permission from all creatures but the thing is these creatures didn't get the chance to refuse him 'coz Goku just decided to go on with it.

I don't know about you but if I was the protagonist of the story I'd wait for you to grant me permission to suck the life-force out of your body even though there's a slim chance that you might die on the process. You get what I mean? It wasn't safe for these creatures but Goku still went ahead with it. Not something a good guy would do.

Even Krillin wasn't in favor of this decision by Goku. And he is Goku's bestfriend. He was worried about the spirit ball destroying the whole planet.

And when Frieza learned about Goku's plan of creating a spirit ball just so Goku could beat him. He quickly appealed to Goku not to continue with his plan 'coz it might destroy the whole planet.

But Goku wasn't gonna stop 'coz all he really cared about was winning. He doesn't care if he destroys the planet in the process.

Just look at that face. Is that the face of a hero that's going to save the planet. He looks more like the villain who only cares about beating his enemy not thinking about the consequences of his action. And Frieza keeps telling him to stop what he's doing. Begging for him.

Just look at Frieza's face. That's the look of a man concerned about the safety of the planet. Yes, he wants to impose his will on other people but that's only because he's the strongest. He just wants to be a leader. Would you really want someone weak to be the leader of the planet who can be easily defeated. He's just trying to show to everybody that he's the perfect man for the job.

But Goku can't accept the fact that there's a man stronger than him. So he would rather destroy an entire planet than lose. And Frieza keeps telling him to reconsider and even tells Goku that he give up already and Goku's the victor. But Goku still went ahead on launching the spirit ball towards the planet.

So Frieza had to act fast or it will be the end of all living creatures in the planet.

And with all his strength and power, Frieza tries to stop the spirit ball from hitting the planet. He doesn't care if he dies on the process. Now, that is something a good guy would do. Can I get an Amen?

He tries to stop it but it was too much for him. And Frieza, in his attempt to save the planet from the spirit ball that Goku had created and launched towards the planet dies in the process.

If Frieza didn't stop the spirit ball the whole planet would have been destroyed. Now that's what you call a hero, the real protagonist of the story.

And that's the reason why Goku never runs out of enemies. Because Goku and his spirit ball is the biggest threat to the planet. These so-called villains are just trying to get rid of the threat so the whole planet would be safe.

And that's why Goku being the hero of the story is the biggest lie in Dragon Ball Z.
