TUTORIAL: What is $poshtoken and how to link your hive-twitter account to earn $posh

In case you had not already heard, a hive user has the possibility to connect their hive account with twitter and after an easy registration process, they can receive $posh simply for sharing hive content on their twitter account!

Let's see the process in detail! In this post I will connect my twitter @aboutheraklion account and link it to hive.

But first lets see what @poshtoken is
If you know already this info, move on to headline 1

@acidyo/dollarposh
In the words of @acidyo

The idea of POSH is to incentivize sharing posts onto Twitter to bring traffic onto our ecosystem and front-ends. Even though the whitelist of acceptable front-ends is limited currently (hive.blog, @ecency, @peakd and @leofinance), more can be added making it an effective incentivization and thereby marketing tool for all tribes and front-ends. At the same time it allows people to make use of their following and influence outside of Hive, meaning you don't even need to be an author or content creator. If you have a following all you need is a Hive account, be registered with hiveposh.com and share Hive links with the minimal #hive tag requirement.

POSH is community funded, development has and will be paid through the @poshtoken post rewards. We decided since the project is still small and without a pre-mine or team token allocation that would be an acceptable method. Further development such as including more platforms other than Twitter is planned for the future through a DHF proposal. We wanted to make sure we have a working model going before we turn it into a bigger project and ask funding from the DHF.

What should you except?

You will shortly receive a confirmation message on hive and you will also most likely be included in the daily report by @poshtoken

You will receive your poshtokens in hive-engine

For the needs of this post I have created a twitter post, however I did not yet received a response on hive. Sometimes it can take a while (5 to 15 minutes) for the bot to arrive. If I have more information on this, I will come back with another post

Don't miss! - Earn $posh passively by delegation or by holding .. Posh-Pet-Nfts!

The reason I thought of creating this post came from the announcement of upcoming .. NFTs by @poshtoken

The users will have the option to delegate Hive & receive $posh tokens or buy $posh pets (ohhh) to receive passively $posh

You can read more about it here

Please note that this post is not to be considered as financial advise

@acidyo if you are reading this, can you please advise

  • How can someone make sure that the sign up process was successful?
  • What if they receive no posh message to their hive account?
  • Where can a user ask for help regarding the connectivity?
  • When will the $posh tokens be launched? :)

Thank you all for visiting, I hope that this was a useful post.
Please let me know below your feedback!
