SplinterGlossary: Card
Cards are the key component of a blockchain trading card game (TCG), and therefore the main digital assets of Splinterlands.
They can be found in booster packs - containing 5 random cards - or can be purchased from the secondary market from other players.
Reward cards can also be earned by playing and winning ranked games.
Promo cards are issued on occasions or as a result of a collaboration.
And last but not least, you can get cards airdropped to you.
Every card in Splinterlands has a number of attributes.
Cards have different rarities and are upgradable until a maximum limit, based on the card rarity.
