Kayaking is always a fascinating thing to me. Whenever I saw those colorful kayaks rumbling on the restless water, a latent desire always kept nudging me to embrace the adventure. But in Bangladesh, where can I have that kind of opportunity? Here, kayaking is too limited which can be found in three to four spots like Kaptai, Mahamaya lake, cox's bazar. Though you can't get the venturesome experience but paddling through the tranquil lake will give you the serenity.
So I, with a bunch of friends of mine, went for a day trip to Chittagong. After traveling to different spots, we went for kayaking in Mahamaya lake which is in Mirsarai.

At first glance, the mystical lake was able to captivate me for a while. It was like a watery wonderland with steady green mountains and a dreamy sky. When I finally took the paddle on a colorful kayak my heart was bouncing with joy! The water was so calm and quiet that the only sound was a water splash of my paddle which was giving me the utmost inner peace. I can still see the glimmering lake which was glittering with the sun ray of the dawn. Going through the eminence hills on both of my sides gave me the pleasure of discovering new routes all by my own.
But by that time, it was becoming a little bit challenging for me to keep paddling as it was the first time for me. Though my hands were hurting so hard still nature was boosting up my spirit. The different shades of green up on the hill was helping me to guess how could Bibhutibhushan describe the beauty of our nature so vividly.
Though I was always fascinated by the kayaking challenges on the gnarly water which I loved to see on the TV, but as a beginner, this peaceful water was perfect for me! I got pure mental bliss and this experience will be always in my core happy memories!
As the journey was so fascinating for me, I tried to paint a canvas out of my memory. It was a few years back, I was a noob in painting the wave, and obviously the life jacket, still tried my best to focus on the water runs through the paddle. This piece will always remind me of the idyllic glorious evening!
