Hello everyone! My name is Ezekiel-Olufemi James. I am passionate about personal development and this is my first post.
Here I am.
I just turned 20 years old on the 5th of June. I am from Western Nigeria, Ogun state to be specific.
I am a penultimate student at the prestigious University of Lagos. Studying Actuarial Science.
Here is me and some of my course mates studying.
• I am a child of God. I love God and I love doing the things of God.
• I sing and play the drums (though my voice isn't the best😅). And I love me some good music.
• In addition, as previously stated, I am passionate about self-development and enjoy reading books that help me become a better version of myself.
• I am interested in finance. When it comes to finance, I'm always ecstatic.
• My life revolves around the 64 squares of the board game of chess! I so love the game and even my friends know that😅.
• I am a very calm-spirited person. My friends see me as the most gentle.
• I am a foodie. I too like food🤗(pidgin for I really like food).
• I hope to become a fellow actuary. This is the peak of the actuarial science field.
I am the second and last born in my family.
From my brother @olujay . Yeah, my brother. He talks about HIVE a lot, a plenty lot. He approaches our mother and I and asks if this header is appropriate or if that topic is interesting. Showing us his progress since he joined and how he has been doing.
He also spoke about how nice it would be if I could join as well. He spoke about how the community is encouraging and how you get to meet new people, share your work, your thoughts and learn from others' work and be you.
He also said that you can also earn along the way from your posts. It was great when I heard all this. What better place to be than here?
Thanks also to @starstrings01 for introducing my brother to this wonderful platform, which has created a ripple effect that I am now here. And thanks to him also for facilitating my being here by helping create my account.
After hearing the wonderful things HIVE offers, an avenue to share my work, share my thoughts, learn from others and earn alongside is an offer that would rarely be turned down.

So I decided, "Oh yeah, I am definitely joining in." My account has been created for about 3 to 4 days now, and I am just posting my introductory post. I made sure to take my time to familiarise myself with the platform, read other introductory posts and understand how things are being done here.
Like I said earlier, I am a student. I play the drums and sing. I play chess, which is going to be a big part of what I will be doing here on HIVE. I also enjoy playing other board games like Ludo and Monopoly. I play mobile and PC games too. And I love reading books.

I intend to share my thoughts on movies I watch, books I read and how they can make you become a better version of yourself. Well, the movies are just for enjoyment😁. I also hope to grow in areas I am lacking because I heard there are communities that can help.
And finally, I am super pumped to be here on HIVE!
