Hey, Everyone!

I told you I was going to write about my lovely D&D character Mary and here I am doing just that. I've put her character sheet at the end of this post but there is so much more to her than that!

For example, she's not very strong or dexterous but she's smart and she knows how to get knowledge everywhere she goes. She loves learning things! She learned Infernal and Celestial just for fun. Before she went on exploring the world she used to spend her free time in the library reading all sorts of books. She hopes to someday write her own story, and it's not going to be just any old fairytale. It's going to be "The Best Story Ever Written" and everybody everywhere is going to read it and know about its author: Mary Freaking Windfiddle.

As for how she got to adventuring - well, you see, one day she realized that reading was not enough to write The Best Story Ever. She needed some first-hand experience. She did some research (of course she did!) and found out that for a person like her, not trained in any kind of craft or matrial art, becoming a Warlock or Wizard was the best way to start adventuring. Wizards, she thought, were very cool (learning their spells from books and all that) but becoming a Warlock took way less time and effort. And she was in a hurry. Her Story wasn't going to wait!

So, she did some more research, chose the type of Partonage that suited her best and found out how to do the binding ritual.

But more about that - in my next post :) I hope you like my precious Mary and I hope I get to tell you more about her as time goes on.
