All good things come to an end, and my time on Hive is over. I've decided to move on, all my enthusiasm for this place has fizzled out... Ultimately I don't know which platform is going to win the blockchain race, and as people often say in women's sport - may the best man win!
Most of my friends on Steemit gave up because of the relentless downvoting. And of the roughly 10% who persisted across to Hive, most of those have thrown in the towel over the past six months because the downvoting and insider voting is as bad now as it was on Steemit.
So why was I still here myself?
Mainly because the Peakd front end was my favourite blog editor. It's crisp man, just how I like my shit laid out.
So even though I couldn't earn any rewards anymore, and bugger all people ever commented on my posts because they had all fucked off elsewhere, Peakd was still the bomb for doing the first drafts of blog posts, and I was using it for that. But I've really had enough of the censorship, reward pool control, and other hive-cabal bullshit.
This crap is not what I signed up for, so I plan to discontinue using the Hive blockchain altogether, and focus more on the other platforms I'm on. Mainly Bastyon and Blurt.

I also look at GAB from time to time and that certainly has some fun memes and stuff, but on there I just repost a few things and don't generally engage or do any original content.
And of all the other platforms I'm on, truth is I don't have time to really use them properly, so I'll stop posting links to my other accounts.
