Interlude - Mary's Design (art)

Hello, Everyone!

Here's the last post for my little break from Mary Windfiddle's story. I decided to present you with some pictures and information about her character design (because if you're a player who can write and draw, you might as well do both!)

So, here's Mary in her full greatness.

First, let me show you all the layers of her outfit. Mary is a practical gal, she wouldn't wear something that's not comfortable and easy to run in. Also, she's grown up in a place that has all the four seasons and so she's well aware that layering your clothes is the smartest choice. If the weather suddenly became hot, she could just remove the top layer and feel fine, and she could put it back on if it got colder. By the way, I adore Mary's coat-thingy, I wish I had one just like that!

There's one thing on this picture that we haven't gotten to yet (see the little jewel on her chest?) but don't worry, you'll read about it in her next adventure :)

Next is the color scheme. I decided on reds and browns because I love how they look together. I'm not so sure about the book but I can easily change it when I feel like it. Also, our DM commented on her outfit, saying that he likes the white shirt under all the reds. It reminded him of how innosent and inexperienced Mary was (and how easy it'd be to break her). 😅

And, lastly, let me tell you about her hair. Mary used to have a pretty normal hair, reddish-brown but nothing all that special. Then, shortly after she made her Warlock Pact, she noticed that it'd started growing with unnatural speed. Only a couple of months after the ritual, it was already to her waist, and it kept on growing.

Mary didn't know why that happened. Maybe it was just a side effect of her Pact, or her Patron... um... liked long-haired girls?

I, as Mary's player, don't now it either, I've given our DM the reins on that part of the story as well as everything else that concerns Mary's Patron. But I love trying to figure out the truth, it's like another layer of mystery on top of everything else Mary's going through.

Anyway, that was all for today.
I hope you like Mary's story and will keep on reading ahead.

Tae care and be well! :)
